I did the math. 16% of government spending goes to the military.

In fiscal year 2015, military spending is projected to account for 54 percent of all federal discretionary spending, a total of $598.5 billion. Military spending includes: all regular activities of the Department of Defense; war spending; nuclear weapons spending; international military assistance; and other Pentagon-related spending.

you need a better abbacus and you need to be aware we were comparing welfare to military spending

DISCRETIONARY. There is mandatory and descretionary. Combine them and you get the budget.

Maintaining a defense budget the size of the next twelve largest COMBINED is expensive. Nevermind overkill. Makes ya itchy on the trigger finger, just to see how all them fancy toys actually work!

Discretionary spending is less than half the total spending. You are lying through your teeth and everybody can see it.

that wasn't your premise which is clear you've lost track of. it happens when you twist shit in a desperate attempt to be right. your arguments have been proven wrong which is what everyone can see. i know it smarts but i'm sure you're used to it by now

sorry to break bad on ya but defense spending is currently at 54% of the budget so it does dwarf all other spending. corporate welfare does dwarf welfare

i'm not redefining entitlements, i'm explaining them to you. you changed your narrative from welfare to entitlements. i said social security wasn't an entitlement since we all pay into it
