Sincerely doubt they have Cree diodes.
Maybe some tiny parts in the chip are made by Cree, but no way you're going to find a panel with 120 cree diodes this cheap without something being fishy.

So if these were to be cree 5w didoes wouldn't that make for better canopy penetration than the their cobs since they use a bunch of mini diodes inside of a chipset?

Even if the drivers and leds are trash, $140 isn't bad for a cob box in my opinion. Its be a lot nicer than anything I could make lol.

If it's pulling ~400w(guessing, haven't seen actual watts anywhere), with cheap leds heat, then the heatsinks should be fine running crees softer. And fans could be upgraded cheaply.

Now to talk the misses into letting me buy one....

I emailed one of the eBay sellers. Wall watts is 240w. Said the chips are epistar smd 5050 and the drivers are 4 x 60w but no other specifics. Probably usable for a 36v or 72v Cree cob each driver depending on the voltage that epistar needs.

will report. says returnable and should be a non issue as theres nothing at all about that fixture which is 800W.

i dont have my wattsup here but it looks like ~50W cobs (1200ma at 40-60V)

Bobby_G you are a bos for doing that! I was wondering, do you think the White colored 800w COBs made by popular grow are the same? I have been researching and I believe Popular Grow is the same as Galaxy Hydro. I just want to be sure to get the right LED for my 3' by 3' tent without spending a fortune. I had the 36v before my bad. The 52v are a little more expensive at $20-$25 each but not a lot of options stocked at cdi.
