It doesn't much matter what I think, society dictates that marijuana will be regulated like any number of other things. It is an intoxicant like booze, and it is inhaled like tobacco and it carries a stigma from 90 years of prohibition, it'll never be treated like lettuce. Adults understand this. If the cops haven't come to my door by now, I don't think legalization will increase the odds of that happening. Why would you think Trudeau is going to arrest me? He's a cop, too? The funny thing about something being legal is there's nothing for the cops to knock on my door about.

No. The OP is not correct...on any subject. Anyone who thinks there will be NO controls are really the "stupid mother fucker's". You can't sell booze, smokes, guns or your car outside the legislative framework. Society has rules we all follow, yet for some reason a few think, while it's okay for everything else to have rules, marijuana should be treated like lettuce. It's never going to be like that, and anyone that can't see that is either extremely naive or has yet to grow up.

How about you point out all these things that Dizzy is correct on, and then where I have been wrong. You are quick to accuse me of being wrong, I bet you have examples in front of my 'incorrectness' you would like to share. I too have been not only hearing about legalization, but fighting for it for many decades. I'm WAY more right than Dizzy or you, but don't believe me...let's just wait and watch it unfold. I guarantee my predictions will be pretty close to the final outcome. You and Ditzy who advocate for the 'wild-wild-west' approach to legalization with no controls are the ones living in "la la land". It's simply not going to happen in a civilized, democratic society. There are countries in this world where simply possession of a joint will get you the death penalty...and then we have someone like you whining 'cause they can't sell without a license. Sounds like a real first world problem, and if that's the only bitch, I think we're doing pretty fucking good.

I respond to the posts, not the poster..I have no idea who any of you are.

Stop comparing it to to lettuce or Booze or cigs or Cars..its none of those things.

They are moving to control the supply (manufacturing) and delivery..red flags and sirens should be flashing in your head, this is a very very bad idea.. If you can't see that, you are no friend to marijuana.

It's an intoxicant just like booze and will be regulated as such. You wanna sell it? Grab a license just like any other micro/craft brewery. And as with that craft industry, we hopefully will be able to just grow our own for personal use!
