A quick hello and summary of what my plans are.

Hello! My name's lukio and i love LED! Ive been heavily reading the other led grow threads - some really impressive work, well done chaps!

I have a couple of led grows under my belt, i was using cheap chinese leds and i did pretty well - i had a break but now im back with a Budmaster GOD 9. The light arrived today but im mid house move so the tents wont be up until the 26th of this month.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what they can do, I plan on having multiple budmaster lights and tents on the go at the same time.

I'm a coco,air pot and drip feed kinda guy! DTW 6.5l pots - multiple feedings daily.

I'll be throwing the first BM GOD 9 in a 1.2mx1.2m tent with a 6" tds silent extraction fan, passive inlet.

The first lot of seeds will be;

Rare Dankness- Scotts OG
Lineage: Triangle Kush X Rare Dankness #1

Dna Lemon Og Kush
Lemon Skunk x The OG #18


I'm looking for keepers so fingers crossed.

Any advice welcome!

LED's: 225 x Osram SSL80 Horticultural Family
Coverage: 120 x 120cm
Energy Used: 405w
Input Voltage: 100 - 240v
Frequency: 50 - 60 hz
Current: 600ma
Voltage: 70v
Amps: 1.69 Amps
Dimensions: 48 x 49 x 8cm

I made that mistake, thinking I would save money because I was converting a light. First of all, the light I was going to convert did not have a heat sink ... in the end I only re-used the fans. The way greengenes did the 200 watts built, the heatsink becomes the fixture, and you have a PROPER heatsink for the COBs. Also 16 clusters of COBs, unless way underdriven, would be overkill, the advantage with the COBs is to spread the light better so it makes no sense to squish 16 COBs so close together. In the end I wish I just kept the shitty lights as they were for back up.

I do.agree for light spread!!!!
It is one of the cobs main advantage against every other lights...the possibility of using multiple emitters...1 over each sq/ft would be perfect!

I've read all of your journals and watched all of your vids about 3 times haha! Great work, man! Hopefully i'll get some good results from the GOD panel... I'm in the UK so when i found out they were made over here i knew i had to try them...fingers crossed!

Nice one, thanks for your thoughts - you're definitely right!

i'll use new heatsinks as the fixture. I'm going to start with a 12 cob 3X4 bar unit. Each bar will be 4 CXB3590 3500K CD 36V @ 1.4A and 1 HLG-185H-C1400 driver.Which apparently equals 110.3 PAR W covering 6ft² = 824 PPFD. im going to put it in a 4X4 area... so more PPFD??

Pretty sure that's correct, it's a post from Supra and he seems to know his stuff!

Ok so it's been a couple weeks and im just about moved into my new place.

Popped some seeds in pellets today

6 X DNA LEMON OG KUSH
5 X RARE DANKNESS SCOTTS OG
6 X DUTCH PASSION AUTO MAZAZAR
2 X NEXT GENERATION GRAPE GOD
1 X DINAFEM STRAWBERRY AMNESIA

So now i wait....

i have some Budmaster GOD models, they made some of the best weed which i ever smoked. But i dont like that you have to hang the light so high over the plants, lights are really poowerfull. And my GOD panel always bleach the top of my weed D:
The weed under my GOD panel always make rock hard buds, i love that. Much more dense then under my CXB panel, but i have to proof that for me, because i did just one grow under my cxb panel.

hm 90cm minimum, but still some little hashtips:/ .I would say around 90-110cm over plants should be fine for the budmaster god 9. My budmaster god 4 i hang around 60-70cm over plants.
My average Gramm per Kilowatt/Hour are 1,39-1,54. And my Budmaster GOD 9 only pulls 384 watt from wallet, my Godmaster GOD 4 pulls around 170 watt from wall

Very nice looking plants Malocan! I'm rocking some GOD 4's and some COB 4's and so far I am really impressed with them.
