Heat stressed?

It's in seedling soil at the moment and i'm not using any nutes. I will go buy some decent soil when I transplant into 5gal pots. We dont get foxfarm here in SA so hopefully I can find something simmilar. I must say the seedling soil have alot of wood chips which I heard isnt great so should maybe transplant asap

Think of it this way your wife just brought home a newborn would you start out giving it grownup food? Of course not! Start off small then ratchet up your schedule. As they get bigger s l o w l y introduce them to more lights outside otherwise you'll shock them...again. Feed them just plain water for now. I use a turkey Baster for feeding my babies 2 full Baster full of water @ 2days. And I feed them distilled water.

BTW with all the talk about your lighting I never bothered to find out what kind of soil are you using? I grow organic so its all about the soil, I feed my soil not the plant. Read up on outdoor growing here on RIU lots of great folks there they can point you in the right direction. I'm an indoor grower right now in soil but I'm looking to grow outdoors this spring and I'll be checking out the outdoor section myself.

They do look much better now just let them do their thing now. Give them at least another week before doing anything to them.

I like to put my beans in a solo cup with good soil that's going to feed them for the first 3 weeks of life then I can transplant into its final home. The soil I prefer is roots organic, FFOF can be too hot for seedlings. The main reason I like solo cups is because it makes transplanting very
Simple I water the plant the day before so that it is moist when I transplant and not dry crumbling soil prep your final bucket with good soil and make a hole in the middle as deep as your solo cup, turn the solo cup over with your fingers between stem and palm over the mouth of cup, then just squeeze the cup while rotating, the plant will slide right out. Never had a plant stress on me doing it that way, but be as gentle as you can.

Thanx for all the advice! Will have to learn more patience. Wish they can start looking like the bagseed one I planted. Maybe it is more used to our climate than the beans I bought.
