What did republicans walk TOWARD? More tax cuts for the wealthy and big corporations, as well as voter suppression and the limitation of civil rights and liberties.

Did I miss anything? Oh yeah. GOOD OL' BOYS, GUNS & GAWD! Several attacks on separation of church and state, ongoing institutional racism getting worse, anti muslim behavior and rhetoric encouraged, xenophobia, outright deadly attacks on abortion clinics met with smirks from right wingers, and the rollback of gun laws in the wake of mass shootings.

Really, why let the fact that the terrorists responsible for 9-11, were already in the country implementing their plan before Bush was even sworn in, dissuade you from casting blame at him? He should have been cracking down using his presidential powers, before he had them.

Sounds good, but I looked it up and it appears that Bush was president on September 11, 2001. Republicans had me convinced that he was sworn in on the 12th. But hey, at least Iraq is now a shining example of a recently "liberated" democracy. An example for the entire middle east to follow. Bravo!

You make the classic error that was the goal. I think it was more of a "you kill a couple thousand of ours, we kill a few million of yours" kind of thing, of which I'm a big fan. In that regard, it's been a huge success.
