Folks, I need some advise as to how close I am to chop. I have attached the best pics I could get of my trichs and pistils. This is my first grow and the time of truth must be nigh. I hope! Thanks

How many weeks are you into flower? I would say @ least a few weeks, your pistols should start darkening and retracting back into the flower when you are close to harvest.

I am just now into the sixth week since the flip. I struggled some with PH flux and nute issue early on (newbie mistakes), but new growth seems to be better now. I'm sure the issues I have experienced will affect overall yield, but I'm just trying to get to the end of my first grow. Strain is NL_Fem. Plant pics are attached. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks

NL is an Indica Strain 8-10 week flower period. around 8 weeks is when you should start seeing her pistols start to turn darker and receed back into the flower. Thats when you wanna start really checking the trichomes

Hi,
My experience is limited to one grow, but when my plants looked like that I still had three or four weeks left.

:)

The camera is a Carson zOrb USB Digital Microscope with 53x Optical Zoom, Surf Blue (MM-480B). You can pick it up for about $40 from Amazon. You will need a laptop or desktop computer to plug it into to take pics. As with all microscopes you will have to use something to stabilize it while taking the shot. I got a Go Pro camera teleflex shafts that has a clamp on one side to attach to a rigid structure. I'm sure you could use something else to stabilize it.
