Too many benificials?

i have root rot, I did my h2o2 baths now I want to add cannazym and hydro guard. I ordered thos but won't be here until tomorrow along with some more voodoo juice. I have tarantula and piranha by AN on hand right now. Can I add these til the other stuff gets here. Also can I use all products together? Will any become too strong because they contain similar ingredients or anything like that? Thanks

Do you have any clearex? If so I would run clearex only until the HG gets to you. That will help wash the roots clean of any old funk.

Then when the HG gets there I would run it at 3 or 4 mil per gallon for the first 24 hours then do a res change and add your nutes w/ 2ml per gallon of HG. I always run 2ml per gal of HG to prevent root rot.

How did you end up with root rot in the first place, warm res temps? Anything over 68 degrees in the res will give you funk and root rot. If warmth is the problem I can help you build the best possible DIY chiller that is way better than the off the shelf type and cost less than $300 to make yourself for 2 res.

What kind of system are you running?

I think i had root rot in the beginning when i was in plain dwc. so i bought a chiller and added three more plants and went rdwc so the chiller would be meaningful. then i think the problem was light.
all the other three were doing fine until i stopped using voodoo juice then they got it. the skywalker (worst) has been alive in hydro since nov 3rd.
all the roots on it are dead and it till kind of smells after the h2o2 but the leaves did stop falling off. should i just kill the fucking thing? i already took of the root ball cuz it was dead and it just kind of came out. i could get alot of clones maybe like 14+ if i cut it apart. its been hanging on for a few days hasnt been falling apart. i feel like if i put it back in the rdwc it will infect the others even more. i know its the source. (ive had this for a while it just didnt look like it was dying. i thought my roots were sstained) so its sitting in its own bucket and cant be chilled

I had to cut the plant in half cuz it was getting to big and then i started trimming uo for flower then this happened. it was probably stressed and thats how the outbreak happened maybe. (idk, first time hydro and first time hearing about root rot)

So i did an overnight h2o2 on everything then filled with base nutes for a day then back to h2o2. now its iin base nutes again and i would like to add benificials. im runningg out of base nutes also so i cant keep mixing more if i dont absolutly have too.

Why no cannazyme? i thought i need to get rid of the dead shit and add bennificials

Hey man for sure keep running h2o2, cannazyme and beneficials. While you have the rot I'd change your res every day or every other day just to keep the dead stuff out until it gets better after a week or so.

You are right on @personal lux about the everyday res change. Have you ever had trouble running both cannazym and hydroguard at the same time? It messed up my res big time for some reason. @MedicalMike420 did you ever figure out why you got the rot in the first place?

my order didnt go through so the cannazyme and hydrogaurd isnt coming in. i put tarantula and pirana in by AN. will this help

they said the pament didnt go thru but i didnt change a hing and it worked the second time but with a mmonday delivery date. im not gunna play games with them ill have to try to get a ride. what should i pick up. they dont carry cannazyme

I always end up going back to Botanicare products because I love the taste. So I would pick up the hydroguard (botanicare) and some clearex as well. I like to keep it simple, so I would go with that and see if it gets you straightened out. Do you have any pics of the root rot? As long as its not gotten too bad you should recover just fine by emptying the res and filling with tap water, HG, and clearex, then running that for 24 hours before changing the res and loading up your nutes. I would continue to run the HG going forward for preventative maintenance.

Yeah I'll take some pics.
Is hydrogaurd the same as using voodoo tarantula and piranha? Like do I pick one or the other. I'm giving it what I got for now which is the normal dose of tarantula and pirana. I should have a splash of voodoo. Not a full feeding tho is that any good? Maybe throw in the sledge hammer with this

That seems like a good plan. They are different Hydroguard is a Bacillus root inoculant which contains unique beneficial bacteria, Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens, selected specifically for its superior ability to enhance the symbiotic relationship between the roots and their surrounding medium. While the AN products are similar, they are not exactly the same. Honestly I stay as far away from AN as I can, but thats just me. Some peeps swear by it.
