Is it possible to use 5cxbs 3590s with 5 foot ceiling without bleaching plants.
Sorry if it is a dumb question. Im about to start my first grow.

Most likely. Depends on strain, veg time, plant size and training techniques. You should be able to have CXB3590s, depending on your current, anywhere from 10" - 22" depending on needs. Is it possible to use 5cxbs 3590s with 5 foot ceiling without bleaching plants.

you might consider using cxb3070s with your height restriction.. The smaller LES gives a more even distribution, and since they are cheaper you can afford to run more of them at a lower current. They can be closer to the canopy. Is it possible to use 5cxbs 3590s with 5 foot ceiling without bleaching plants.

In a different thread it was mentioned that the 3070 series might have more intensity where the 3590 had more spread due to the same number of diodes but a more compact layout.you might consider using cxb3070s with your height restriction.. never heard that one. the LES size of either cob is much smaller than the distance between cobs. so that doesn't make any sense to me.In a different thread it was mentioned that the 3070 series might have more intensity where the 3590 had more spread due to the same number of diodes but a more compact layout.
First couple pages here discuss thisnever heard that one.
a cxb3590 produces more light than a cxb3070 at the same current.
oh I see yeah I read that discussion. but no, the difference in the les size won't spread the light out enough to make a diff. I don't believe that the 3590 and the 3070 has the same number of diodes either.First couple pages here discuss this
If there is no difference than why use the 3070?oh I see yeah I read that discussion. but no, the difference in the les size won't spread the light out enough too make a diff. I don't believe that the 3590 and the 3070 has the same number of diodes either.
by using more cobs at a lower current, the light is spread (diffused) out more. the 3070s are cheap enough to do that.If there is no difference than why use the 3070?

Im about to drop 2000 on a setup. So im going to ask questions bro that what the forum is for. To learn and ask questions.sure, you can use 2 or 12 in that space. people need to understand the fundamentals before bombarding the site with the same generic question day in and day out

And the thread you posted was on page 445 of an unrelated thread topic so how tf was i gonna stumble across that.
So stay tf out my thread tammy peterson.
I emailed Jerry 2 days ago and he still has not emailed me back... Is he still a reliable source? I need cxbs now.Bonjour
Wooow!!! 2000 what?...pesos another weak money!???
You do not talk about US$!? I hope!
It will cost you 420 $...350 $ for 200w...for 250w you will need one more chip 45$ and a driver who cost 70$ instead of 50$(in kb)
Less than 500$ in every case!
