CXB3590 Build :)

Aloha, they're 30W drivers, and passive, no fans , they are warm if you touch them, i guess about 50c.
Can you let your hand on it or is it too hot?
If it is you should add fans as it is too hot...and will lower longevity efficiency and it is not what you want I guess!
Why those driver instead of 2 hlg-120-1050b?

How do you move your panel?
Are you in bloom?
Because your plants looks a bit tall...do you know cxb @1400mA have 1 feet maybe 16in penetration no more without reflector or lenses!
So growing tall plants is a waste of time imo...but I don't tell you how to grow just my opinion!
You should try lst and bending to fill your space faster and with less plants!

Yes, now in boom, theyre about 60cm tall, no too much, and theyre Indicas, so no problem, last run was with 400w HPS, with a cheap reflector, amost same height, with this build i have much more intensity than with HPS, so I think I will be fine.

They're hot, aren't the efficiency charts by @SupraSPL, made with junction temperature of 50C?. Because i got the drivers local, here is a pain in the ass to import stuff, you have a limit of two packages a year...

Bonjour
Yes but I am sure a pair of pc fan wont be so hard to find!!!
I wouldn't run expensive cxb over 30ºcat least you should be able to let your hand on the hs...!
You should find pc fans at a waste disposal and even old phone charger to run them...free stuff...or is there used pc parts shop around you...it is like 10 $ to keep your cob cold and to keep them longer...you should ask @SupraSPL but I guess he is not around here since a while!

Ok, now I'm on day 16 (Week 3) of 12/12, the ladies finished the strech, and now are budding, I attach some pictures, the strech was only about 15CM, so, no problem, I'll be posting pics, and updates of the grow.

Hi, I'm on day 22 of week 4, so far so good, except... some mites...Im treating the ladies with potassium soap and neem oil, I'll keep spraying them till day 35 of week 5, so the last 3 weeks if there some left, they wont fuck up the harvest. I attach a picture of today.

Yes, I read that you had mites in week 3, do you control them till harvest? or you have them till the end?

Till the end...I whipped leaves almost everyday with a sponge and neem and olive oil...it keep hers from destroy the complete crop but it wasn't as nice as I wanted to...but it was better than let it kill all my plants...for the leaves far from the buds I sprayed with a towel as a shield!
It is very hard to eradicate completely so from now you will habe a lot of work to slow it...do it very often...and olive oil alone is not toxic for buds...you could spray water later if you are afraid some oil is left!
I do not have iPA because it is not allowed in France but I will soon...but it should work against it I just don't know how much you have to dilute it!?
Good luck!

What was your temperature an RH?, Now I don´t see adults on the leaves, but there could be some eggs/larva. The idea is to stop spraying soon, so there is time to the neem oil, and the soap (that has cinnamon, l-limoneno oil extracts) to degrade, so it doesnt affect the taste of the buds. I'll keep you informed with my battle :).

Penetration really depends on your setup. I get almost 3' down with my cobs running at 700m and 525ma. I have them grouped pretty close together though and am in a small tent. 3x3x5'3"

I guess it was 26ºC and 50/55% rh!
