Peak NL.jpg This a nug of NL. Really it is about all of 1 plant as I had a nute lockout and had mini plants. I think they smoke the same as regular sized though.

This is a very mellow feeling high that comes on immediately after smoking. Last about 2 hours or a bit less depending. Potency is around 7 or 8, pretty good but does not crush you. Thc would be around 15 to 20 percent I would guess. Good feelings to it not just a buzz, positive feeling comes with it.

Taste is ordinary I guess, I never can get all the nuances of taste some get. Chill out weed but still functional at lower doses. Laidback for sure but not too much that way either. Not confusing high but you could get into a trance type state if you allow yourself to do that.

Anxiety relief and help for sleeping would be the main areas for help with this strain. Maybe physical pain too but I can not give a opinion on that.

I like the high very much, better than a lot of indicas I have tried. I ordered 3 more packs of this NL today and hope he throws in a NL x Blueberry so I can try that too. Have BCSC NL on tap for next grow to compare to this. I grew Nirvana NL and was not that happy with it. It was potent but was kind of a messed up high with a dirty finish, 1 plant only so take that as you will.

^^ I never had the oldschool NL or if I did it everything was just called redhair or Skunk late 70's to early 80's, so no idea on that. I have heard from others that this strain is close to what they had back in the good old days.

It is my new favorite and I have a lot of strains I have grown to choose from. I also have access to dispensaries. Euphoric and calming every time. No crash on the comedown. No tired feeling during the buzz or after. Basically it has all the things I want in a high with none of the bad stuff.

I just received my order of 3 packs of NL and he included 6 extra NL beans. 22 days round trip from me mailing to getting the beans. 2 weeks faster than I expected.

So I have plenty of NL and was considering ordering a pack of Northern Berry or just Blueberry. I like a mellow, euphoric feeling, not a lot of energy or wild mind trips. Anyone have some input on what to order? I have not had good luck with Blueberry hybrids like Sweet Tooth and Blue Hash. Both had my mind jumping around in a chaotic type way and no euphoria whatsoever. Have never had straight Blueberry. Maybe some of his other strains?

Sounds great yesum! I don't smoke weed during the day often because of that come down tired feeling you mentioned. My job requires me to be alert and most strains make me want to take a nap after the buzz wears off. Might have to order a pack of those based on your review!

I have grown Peaks Northern Skunk in the past which was excellent weed. I have a few of his Sweet Skunk in veg right now too from seed.

I feel you on the not smoking before or during work. I'd used to always get stoned before/during work and would be dragging ass by lunch time.

How are those Peak Sweet Skunk doing? Have you flipped them yet?

nl I ran was sensi original 95' version. she was good in yield good in effect. not blow ya out of the water though.

I'm looking forward to trying peak seeds TWXNL outdoors next summer. I'll try some other strains as well if I can manage. Wouldn't mind some of 'getaway mountains' stumble weed too.

Hey bro, have you tried DJ's Flo? I hear it's a very functional day time buzz, especially if you get a Sativa-leaning pheno... :joint:

I have not... but I might now! :-)

I was actually chatting with JD Short and he recommended trying out their Whitaker Blues, so I may have to make that a two pack grab and add Flo to the order. A good day time smoke that doesn't tire you out would be nice to have on hand! Thanks for the tip!

Welcome and I hear Mandala's Satori is also in that functional day-time category. Mostly Sativa with huge yields and a creative "Up" buzz. Last but not least... Kali Mist from Serious is one of the best out there ;-)
