The supreme court said they were UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

You're really not that bright.

Let's remember how thus conversation began. I asked someone if they remembered the quota system. You chimed in with a statement that there never was a quota system and that it had always been against the law.

I cited a supreme court case where a white man was denied entry into a California medical school, becuase the school excluded a number of slots from consideration for white students.

That's a quota system.

Being incorrect about something is not that big a deal. Refusing to admit you were wrong and doubling down on stupid is just stupid.
your own source didn't even call it a quota system, they called it a "quota" system.

are you really this stupid?

considering that you think institutional racism is dead, i'd have to say so.

Then why wouldn't that apply to normal society?

It does silly. Why would anyone think it don`t ?

Buck pointed out that Black NFL players get arrested 10 times more than white ones so if they don`t want to be the center of attention, not being criminals, like I suggested , should lessen the attention you`re so pissed that they`re getting.

Do we really want to compare the advantages of "white" money vs. "black" money? When there's a rich white kid (who wasn't famous, btw) who got away with killing four people, and paralyzing another while driving drunk? Is that what we're doing. Those aren't just rich black men, they're rich black celebrities. There's a difference.
Well you and I don't know the same nomfamous black people who have been aquitted of crimes.

White celebrities get off and so do black celebrities. This is more in line with my class theory than your race theory.

Don't be so hard on yourself, lol.
Just for arguments sake, let's try to get to the bottom of this.

There is a gap between how the average white person and average black person are treated in this country. That cannot be denied.

You position seems to be that it's all because of race.

I don't totally discount race, racism, but I think the larger factor by a mile is class.

Help me figure out how to distinguish between the two. The problemwe have is the percentage of each race belonging to each class. Unfortunately the history of discrimination has lead to blacks being poorer on average than whites.

But there has been enough progress to where we do have a sizable black middle and elite classes now. Unfortunately there are far too many poverty stricken black communities. I think you'll find it is these communities that are filling our prison systems.

Yeah, that's what I say every day when I read what these idiots post.

I also say "too stupid to pay attention," and "dumber than a mud fence."

But Wow is certainly concise.

Yes. I'm sure you are a very fair person. I keep getting messages about concerns you're having, and then right after that I see you call people stupid and dumb. You're not sending mixed signals. Not at all.

But Hey how this thread switched to racism lets see who is number 1 country @ racism god DAM its USA
Considering that they have a diverse pool of people, they still can't deal with the variety of people they have. Their history shows their struggle with racism and even up until now, they still struggle with it. Even the people who is not a citizen of their country are discriminated in a form of subtle remarks. Perhaps not all of them are racist but many of them are and discriminate a lot of people.M+55

America like India has racism deeply embedded within its political, social, religious, economical and housing systems. America and India both should come in first place as a tie. While it is true that a lot of the citizens of America are prejudice/bias - there are even more who may not realize that they are because of privileges that natural come with being white in America. Yet, if any of those privileges were threatened you will see their prejudice nature rise like temperatures in Africa. Being ignorant of racism in America doesn't make its citizens racist and many of them are kind in heart yet the very fabric of America was built on the idea of superiority which considered themselves as people and blacks as 3/5th human. Blacks were considered as animals but even to that end white people treated their dogs and horses better than blacks. The irony is that you can still see that today
