I finally got most of the work done in my room. I still need to install another can fan to pull air in from the outside. I am going to place it next to the can fan pushing air through the cooltube.
i made a hidden door by putting sheet rock on a wooden frame and used that as a door. the wooden frame takes all of the weight,I have my ballast hanging outside my room. I also place velcro on the edge of the entryway and am going to use mylar as a door and the velcro to make it light tight. will this work well. my other thought was to cut a piece of sheet rock or wood 2' x 7' and use the velcro to attach the wood or sheet rock. I thought this would be cool, but I and concerned the sheet rock walls will break if i pull on them hard.
any thoughts?
nice. i will look into that.i made a hidden door by putting sheet rock on a wooden frame and used that as a door. the wooden frame takes all of the weight,
thanks. i spent way more than i expected, but fuck it, you only live once!i think it looks pretty nice
yes and sounds lik a great idea. will go to the store tomorrow for that.Nice set up man
Looks expensive.
Oh yes make your doorway out of thin plywood sheet
I used Reflectix, it is a silvery bubble wrap that supposedly heat cannot be detected from with thermal imagery. just to make wifey happy. and then yes, lots of mylar. I will have this room lckd at all times and NO ONE will be allowed access. I wa going to have a buddy help me, but he was too busy and I hammered it out myself. thanks.Looks great, is there anything not wrapped in mylar? looks like you have evrything under control but just to give you an added option i used a large standing cabinet for my hidden door, just screwed its back into the wall, opened the cabinet doors and cut another hole in the backof the cabinet and the wall. A locked cabinet doesn't really attract any attention, but open it and you have an entrance to greenland.
