Box fan was found on top of a plant

Hey everybody. This is my problem, my box fan was knocked over when my exhaust kicked on. Found it laying flat running on my favorite plant of the crop. Is this plant toast? This is her leaning to the side a little bit. I tried to stand her back up and added some extra soil to keep her standing up. Please any help would be greatly appreciated

Staying the path is the best you can do since you are so far into flower, keep an eye out for bananas

That's what I'm going to do. I had such high hopes for that particular plant.

Tape her up if required a spray with aspirin water for shock or any salic acid will do

check close for damage

a spray of neem oil

will prevent you re-occurring issue with white fly

smear neem or cooking oil on a yellow card and hang from the light or roof

dumbasses think yellow is food/leaf..?

I'm currently using yellow jam jar tops for the same ..lol //wink

Just use a 4-foot long 98 cent wooden dowel from Lowe's as a stake, stick it into the soil directly alongside the stem, and use a couple of twist ties to make a splint. It'll be fine in a week, and there'll be a swollen knuckle where it was bent and healed itself. I concur with the recommendation to keep an eye out for nanners.

You're welcome. Lowes and Home Depot both sell 1/2 inch diameter, 4-foot long poplar dowels. I always keep a bunch of them in the grow room, along with a bag of twist ties. The thing about staking or splinting a plant is, whenever you need to do it you usually need to do it immediately. I also keep 24-inch bamboo shishkabob skewers around for shorter plants, chopsticks for clones, and toothpicks for seedlings. I don't need them often, but when you need them you need them right away. No matter how careful I am, I never get through an entire grow without at least having to stake a few top-heavy plants - and if something ever falls on a plant, the sooner you get it splinted the better.

I'm going to do just that because I had nothing on hand. Another member told me a remedy that also seemed to work because she seems fine now (minus the half branch and huge waterleaf she had chopped off by the fan).

Didn't read any of the above postings, but she'll be just fine. Let mother nature do it's thing. Side note though, I read you added extra soil. That soil doesn't look like its even close enough. Fill that shiz til 1 inch from the top. It looks like you have 4 inches of space from the top of that pot.

uhh.. i definitely wouldn't spray a flowering plant with neem oil.. but thats just me I guess.

Lol I concur with the taping up - I broke a plant once, straight snapped its stem, right before flowering, just put regular old masking tape on it and tied some string to the other branches to prop it up, to my surprise the next day all the leaves were still standing up! Lol
