How much should I be watering in coco coir?

At the moment I'm watering with roughly 2l to 2.5l per plant every 3 days on average. I think this is too much. I want optimal growth and so far it's been a MONTH - Plant's look healthy, but I've been going in blind with the waterings... I think this may be slowing down the growth process.

I've checked google and theres not much talk about it.

Is there a rule to follow for every inch of the plant? an example - 100ml per inch of stem? Mine are only about 5-6 inches tall...

On a side note I cannot find a guide for canna A+B nutrient guide for optimal growth. People say start with 1/4 strength nutes, after 2 week up it to 1/2 strength up until flower and then full feed. 40ml A+B per 10 litres.

How big are your pots? About 20% of the pot volume is what I usually go by. 100% coco may require more - she can hold some juice!

Small plants in big containers are always a pain to deal with. With coco, it's all about container size. You've transplanted your seedlings straight into 5 gal pots and because of that, they will need time to grow roots again and you have to kinda treat it like soil (which is problematic sometimes) until your plants grow into their pots.
Also I found an issue with your leaves. What is the temp near the tops of your plants? How is the ventilation in your tent?

As stated, they are busy stretching their legs so to speak. I ran Canna for awhile and will look and see what my schedule was. I go more off of ppms than anything. 400-500 ppms would be a good place to be about now. Water around the edge to get the roots to fill out sooner. Bottom feeding helps too. Learn to judge by the weight of your pots how much they need. Obviously size of plant will matter.

Here is what I was doing when using Canna:

Teen/Early Veg
Per Gal.
5.5ml Coco A
5.5ml Coco B
1tsp CaliMagic
3.5ml MBferts vitamin hormone booster (same as canna boost)
8ml Hygrozyme

When they were in full veg:
Per Gal:
8.5ml Coco A
8.5ml Coco B
1tsp CaliMagic
7.5ml Hormone Booster
8ml Hygroyme

Hope this helps.

Nice new yoda feisty, what strain are you running? Some just veg slow, my pineapples are on the same schedule as my holy grail 69, but they aren't nearly as tall, could just be simple genetics

When the container doesnt feel as heavy. I know this sounds weird but it works for me. I put my finger into the soil and it might feel dry but thats not the same as the middle of the container ya know?...Eventually, it'll be second nature to read the plants and know when the want water or not, I do it in my veggie garden :-)
It works well for me since some plants need water at different rates so I never over water. Each plant gets the right amount. Worth the effort IMO
