Complete newby to growing

I recently ordered a VIP Taison Auto + a Pyramid Auto White Widow, and got a free Dinafem Critical from Herbies. I am currently waiting on the shipment, but I am trying to round up equipment to grow. I have a perfect space in my closet I plan to use. I'm only going to grow one at first because I don't want to mess them all up if I do something wrong. I don't want to use nutrients really because I don't have enough money atm to buy anything else (I bought the seeds cause I'm out of bud) I'm not trying to be a master grower, just in need of some simple steps to get an easy good batch out of a single auto flower. So if any of you ganja smokers out there can help me, this rasta would appreciate it. Much love.

My advise is if you're a serious smoker. Don't bother unless you're going to do it right. If mine wasn't better than I could buy I wouldn't grow. That's the truth I'd start there. Even if you grow something worth smoking if you don't handle it properly after its culled you might not be able smoke. I have a friend who grows outside and it dries so fast it taste like Mexican brick weed. And I know what he's growing because it comes from me. After its dried it's nothing like mine.

I'm not trying to discourage you I just know what it takes. If you wait until spring and find a spot outside and leave it as it sounds like you're going to do. Minimal effort minimal expectations.

Not really. Most problems people ask about on here are from loving thier plants too much.

Simply put you need to take care of them, not just leave them if you want quality yield with a good success rate.

Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate any feed back. I intend on completely taking care of them, getting the right soil and lighting and such. I just need some helpful tips on how to grow auto flowers best. I'm just trying to produce my own medicine. Thanks guys

Hey jahsen get foxfarm earth ocean something like that.26 a bag here. Don't love em too much! Go easy on water no soak little dry on the top. Works for me! Don't forget your gentle fan to create an awesome stem to hold up that cron! PAY Attention to the leaves! I got "crinkle" leaf too close light. Backedit up all good now!

Simply put you need to take care of them, not just leave them if you want quality yield with a good success rate.

I would say that just leaving them alone is often better than loving them too much.

It doesn't need very much to grow. It doesn't need any fancy products or extra effort compared to any other plant.

I get what your saying but this is newb section and most newb mistakes are from doing too much for or to thier plants.

I recommend getting Nature's Cure soil, bone meal, blood meal, and organic food, all of which are from the Nature's Care line, a good quality LED, pH tester,various pots, and IBA for rooting. Don't skimp and have respect for the plant, or it won't have anything too great for you.

Sage words odg. I still make small dumb mistakes. But with, me first indoor as long as I keep sharp eye I OK. Grew 8_ times outdoors. Know a little bit

What I have learned over past month grows way faster than I prepared for. Example me 2 seedlings in with the 2+WK olds & the stems are looking stretchy. Planned on having a seed side just thought had more time. Now scrambling a bit get another smaller led for the wee ones.

I actually recomend not growing an auto on your first try, the name "auto" makes it sound much easier than it is, the problem being they have such a short life span their isn't much room for errors.

With an 8-10 week from seed plant if you have one problem that sets growth back a week you've wasted 1/8th of its life, how many of us can honestly say we only did one thing wrong on our first grow? I mean it will most likely bud, but who wants to wait two months on a blunt? Try running a bag seed first, it's much cheaper and you can always veg it till it's healthy and learn as you go, just my .02
