outdoor soil mix feedback

I was just wanting some feedback on two ff products and if anyone had tried using them together...1st is the lucky dog...which you can hardly find any true information about..I have asked ff and they basically say it is loaded with microbes but isn't as good of a soil as o.f ...the second is the lucky dog soil conditioner. ..I asked the guys from where I buy all of my grow material and they highly recommend it...I was going to use some dirt from my old pig pen as a base and mix these two products together and compare them to my moonshine mix I will be using this year...so if anyone has used lucky dog as a stand alone or at all for that matter please let me know how you liked it...especially if you have used of in the past...and the same goes for the HF soIL conditioner. ......I really an doing this to try to save some money and mix the soil I have from my pig pen and these two products together and start a patch away from my ladies I'll have in the moonshine mix ...any feedback would be greatly welcomed. .ty

I would watch the pigpen soil due to the possibility of it being high in nitrogen and could be HOT.

It had been about 7 or 8 years since any pigs have been in it...weeds grow like crazy where the pin was ...heck I even have a tree that is huuge for its age in it...I was going to dilute it with other soil...I'll try to grow something I. It first to see what happens

Ok, wasn't sure how long ago the three little pigs were there......For shits and giggles, have you thrown a seed or two directly into the soil there and let it grow.
Looks like your mix will probably do nice, just don't add anymore amendments with nitrogen in it, seems there is more than enough.

I haven't tried to grow anything in it latley...I did take some soIL from it a few Yeats ago and hauled it to the woods and it done pretty good...I kinda forgot about that. ..but I did mix some MG soil with it...idk how great it would be all by its self...I might get some dry nutes to mix with it and see how it goes...maybe some lava rocks or perlite too cause where I plan on putting it at the ground sometimes gets a lil damp close by it ...I have grown in the spot for the past couple years so it should be fine. ...I really can't find any info at all on the lucky dog soil. ..a little here or there but nothing soild...may just have a trial and error session with it

Can't go wrong with bails of promix, liquid nutes, and rainwater.

In my parts of Cali, pro-mix isn't available, so I use Dr Earth Veg & Flower potting soil and Kellogg's Patio plus mix with some washed sand, Azomite and perlite. Plants grow very well in it and it won't break the bank! My nutes are Espoma Plant tone with some Alaska liquid Kelp in veg and then I use Espoma Garden Tone for flowering with some Gro-power liquid fert.

Have u compared the Dr.earth to anything else ...I haven't heard a lot about it but from what I have it didn't seem too awful bad

It's good, works well for me in our area of so Cali alone or the mix I put together. Better than MG soil I think but that is just my opinion. I also use the same stuff for my vegetables in the garden and flowering plants......good mix for all.
