A trip to CO

Yeah, that's my biggest concern. If I have to cut property size down to get into a decent area, no prob. Even 20 acres would be nice in the right area. All I know is I'm done with Jersey. I can't take this shit. I know there's corruption everywhere, but Nj has a special kind of it...armpit of the north
Fuckin Joisey.

I went to school with a lot of Jersians. It was kind of a shock but I had met some down in Mexico so I wasn't totally off guard.

I thought about those poor little bastards from the Jersey Shore this morning for no reason other than existential dread. I hope they saved some money. Or maybe I don't. I don't know. I am just glad not to see them anymore.

NHS Controller checking in, we have a new guy with a lot of enthusiasm... sorry we rubbed anyone the wrong way, he's a nice fellow and honestly motivated to help customers. We've had a little chat, though.

Anyone wants a 10% off coupon, please PM me. And you, twistedentities -- PM me if you want a REALLY good coupon on that Gavita, figure we owe you one.

Now, about that trip to Colorado - my dad retired there, near Hartsel. Got a great deal on 7 acres and a house, I think he paid $155k and did the loan through a US Dept of Agriculture guarantee. I didn't realize they made rural housing loans, don't need a farm, just regular rural housing. He got a great rate with a low down payment. Nice area, lots to see.
Where's my Gavita coupon?

Absolutley hated that show. So glad it's gone.

Same here except for a brief move to Florida. I'm down at the bottom here...and yep, it'll be very easy to forget
there will be some culture shock, especially if you move to a place with decent acreage.

there are some nice "ranches" in the parker/elizabeth area just south of denver. mini mansion on 20+ acres for a good price.

you'll want to get a feel for it before planning a move out here first.

I plan to fly into Denver mid April. Gonna do some scouting and the wife and kid will join me the following week to see what I've found. I'm sure there'll be some getting used to but as long as I can find a good school for my little one, I'm sure the view of mountains and the freedom of meds will overcome any brief feelings of missing the ocean.

Can't wait to see the wildlife out there. I'm more into fishing than hunting. I grew up hunting with my dad.....not the same now that he's gone. I've had some beautiful bucks under my stand and all I feel like doing is taking pics. Maybe that'll change if I move out there.

Why travel to Colorado out of pocket when we at North Coast Horticulture Supply are offering a free trip to 4/20 in Humboldt?
We are a brand new, competitively priced, online store. We ship nutrients, soil, lighting, and anything else your garden may need.
Our website is https://nhs-hydroponics.com/
Message me if you have any questions about entry, the prize pack is phenomenal.
So I read earlier today about that trip package that you guys are offering and the company that offers the packages said that they are not doing it this year. It said basically find a your own camping or hotel?

We are definitely offering a trip to Humboldt for 4/20, but we had a new guy on the account trying to drum up some buzz for us last week, and inadvertently hijacked this thread. Not sure what you mean by "the company that offers the packages said that they are not doing it this year" -- I'm the Controller for NHS, and know firsthand from our CEO & Events Planner that this is a done deal, budgetwise. We have a house we rent for VIPs in Trinidad, California. We'll buy airfare. We're doing it all in-house, and this is for sure a real deal and prize package.

Now, not to hijack the thread further, if you (or anyone else reading this) have questions, please please PM me and we'll square things away.

Meanwhile, back in Colorado and on topic for this thread: I just visited the Hartsel area in January to see my dad. Got to test out my new Jeep on snowy roads before the snowplows had made it through, and even cut a couple of paths for locals with cars instead of 4x4s. Very pleasantly surprised to see some grow shops in small towns, looking forward to going back that way sometime soon. Nice to see the political evolution making its way out of big cities like Denver & Boulder into small rural towns. Would be nice to see some of our Humboldt products making their way onto the shelves out there too ;)
