Hydros growing. Here's a video of my grow. Enjoy.
God those are a rip off. $5 a piece? No way.Airwalker16 here's a link I found on eBay for the 3/4" bulkheadshttps://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/321727681903How many buckets are planning on running and what kind of setup you running
Airwalker16 I would agree. I was just trying to point you in the right direction if you really needed them. Like I said I bought mine from my local hydro shop and they don't do online sales as of yet. I believe the big box stores might have them as well.God those are a rip off. $5 a piece? No way.
It's strange they're as hard to fund as they are.Airwalker16 I would agree. I was just trying to point you in the right direction if you really needed them. I personally have never gone above 750-800. Ever. And my girls love it. I do RCDWC. The buds are SO sticky, dank and sweet smelling. 3 different strains too. Also, I built a 6 site for my dad to grow tomatoes.Smoke it has been a pleasure reading through your grow journal. You're doing a great job and your lady looks fabulous!
You helped me with those pictures at the beggining. I myself have just started hydro for the first time ever and while my plant isn't growing as lushly as yours, I think it's doing all right. I had a little setback with some pH fluctuations but now everything is under control and I hope she takes off soon.
I might up the nutes to 1000ppms, see how that goes.
Have fun with the flowering!
Hydros growing Gregor Eisenhorn welcome to my grow room. It's a pleasure to to have you stopping in. I'm glad I could help you in your grow. If I may ask what did I help you with. I've tried to give as much info as I could in this current grow to maybe help other growers with some aspect of my grow whether it was the screen or the Rdwc system. So hey please poke your head in my tent anytime the more eyes the better.Smoke it has been a pleasure reading through your grow journal. You're doing a great job and your lady looks fabulous!

Airwalker16 holy smoke. Hydros growing. That is a nice setup your running bro. You are exactly the person I need in my tent. I've grown some good buds but man yours almost put mine to shame. The stem on that plant is massive. Is that your current grow. I've heard of a lot of growers not going over a thousand ppms. I try to make my target at about 1000-1200 ppms without Calmag but it looks like I may need to cutback looking at your plants, plus I could save A lot of money too right. What kind of nutrients are you using. By the way stop by anytime the door is always open.I personally have never gone above 750-800. Ever. And my girls love it. I do RCDWC. The pictures you put up helped me get rid of my worries, I was troubled that my plant isn't growing as fast as it should be. Also the ppms are a great addition, very informative!Hydros growing Gregor Eisenhorn welcome to my grow room. It's a pleasure to to have you stopping in. I'm glad I could help you in your grow. Gregor Eisenhorn welcome back. I'm glad I could help in some way. I think the key when growing hydro is not to over do it. It's more hands on than growing in soil so to me it's a little more rewarding. The one tip I could give you is not to over feed as Airwalke16 mentioned and to stay on top of your ph wilhich is vital. I try not to go over about 1200 ppms without Calmag. My water from tap is right at about 80ppm so I always take that and factor from there. Nutrient lock out from over feeding and unstable ph are the main issues when growing hydro. One supplement I would suggest when growing hydro is Calmag. I'll use it throughout my grow cutting back towards the end. Stay on top of your ph and don't over feed. I vegged my plant for a little over a month about 6 weeks. Different strains all have different growth rates so you can't judge off another persons grow. The more your involved the better you'll getThe pictures you put up helped me get rid of my worries, I was troubled that my plant isn't growing as fast as it should be. And I noticed that in one picture (first page) the leaves of your girl suddenly stood out after being droopy. What is it you did? My leaves don't stand out so and I was wondering what could be the problem.
Also I love the RCDWC you guys have... that gives me an idea. Since I have nothing to do in my grow box other than a few daily tweaks and the general waiting, I might as well try to build a new system. That'll keep me occupied for some weeks.
Haha did I inspire you to build more? Looks bad ass man! You run your different then I but its the same concept. I just really enjoy the benefit of pumping out through right below the top of the bucket of the res, through tubing, and then to each top of the buckets with ts and elbows at the end. Creates a small waterfall inside each bucket and as they fill, and drain the res, the return lines, with gravity, pulls water back into the res. It's minimal, but the waterfall effect does indeed create even more oxygenation than just the air stones do alone.Hydros growing. Man its been a long day. I've been in the garden working on the next project. I put up my 4x4 tent for my 1000w autoflower grow and built a 5 bucket Rdwc system for them. I've got four seeds popped and in the propagation tray ready for their new home. So here is a sneak peek on what's next to come. View attachment 3623799View attachment 3623800
Welcome back Airwalker16. Yea you could say inspired. I really like the ease of Rdwc system especially when doing multiple buckets plus it keeps ph in check. Not to mention I hate checking multiple buckets for ph and res changes with stand alone dwc to much of a hassle. I agree with the waterfall method but I to like have a little wiggle room. I try to get a few harvest under my belt before it gets to hot. This is my first grow with a 1000 watter so I was really eager to get one going so I don't have to run a/c. I've really been itching to get a co2 setup. I'm on the fence but may be pulling the trigger shortlyHaha did I inspire you to build more? Looks bad ass man!
