You can have monsters in smaller pots but generally the bigger the pot the bigger the auto flower.

That is how auto flowers developed. Lack of a photo period.

Ime experience my indoor autos go about 80-95 days, regardless of what the breeder says.

i've run one auto before. pulled it at 10.5 weeks....shit.

ive got 4 autos that are 12 weeks in and look like they have 2+ weeks to go.

i will never run autos again. the timing for me is all off. i prefer the photos. on my clones, the advertised flowering time is pretty close.

please...please please please tell me where in the world, besides alaska, gets 24 hours of sun a day? i'd really like to see your answer to that

and no, larger and deeper pots does NOT mean it will get bigger. i've had mosters in 2 and 3 gallon pots...and tiny ones in a 5 gallon pot. i've got some in 3 gallon pots that are bigger and better than one in a 7 gallon.

So you have grown one auto before and have a few going now. So which ones were monsters. Sounds like you've grown quite a few autos in different size pots. Not.
You also have your answer for the other places that have short summers with long sunlight hours.

In my experience with autos thus far the length of the tap root does seem to affect the veg time.In short pots generally I see abbreviated veg times and earlier onset of flower.As far as a 24 hour cycle,autos CAN be run from seed to harvest at this lighting schedule,its a handy tool.The small bud packed plant in my avatar was grown from seed at 24/0,this plant was ready in 70 days.

Ive grown autos in everything from kitty litter trays,1-5 gallon pots,fabric pots of various sizes,pop bottles etc,etc.Alot of that depends on your medium but generally I dont think you need more than 3gallons for autos,with the smaller root ball.

Right. The deeper pot allows for a longer tap root. That doesn't mean that it will become root bound in that pot.

It gets much more complicated than that. How well the breeder breed the seeds makes a difference. How much of the photoperiod genetics the plant gets makes a difference.

Yep I think once that taproot hits the bottom,it promotes root branching at that point.The plants I pulled in very short pots had bent tap roots with extreme side branching.Experimenting more with this atm.

I haven't tried dinafem autos yet. Every photoperiod strain I've ordered from them were pretty close to breeder spec and good smoke.

I ordered a amnesia xxl and another xxl sativa dominant auto. I signed up for the vault Heisenberg comparator grow.

I figured I would throw the dinafem autos in with them.

Someone in this site said the amnesia xxl was good. I don't remember who.

Anyways, stoned rambling. Lol. I guess my was that dinafem is a good consistent breeder.

Another good breeder I like is female seeds. I love thier c99 and easy sativa. Couple others to. They have a couple Neville's haze crosses I want to try.

Yep, my times are within a week usually. Sometimes two weeks. It's not that big of a deal to me. I am one of the ones that prefer to post their plants go longer anyway.
