yes i was trying to show you the problem with the soil

if you found a mix of 50% peat moss and compost it would be a good bag of soil or if you buy some seedling soil with 70% peat moss and add this too the soil (westland soil ) with the perlite its going to cool the soil down and make it lighter, so you can mix your own soil up and get better results :)
sorry dude... the shop isnt far from me so will return it tomorrow.... what about this 1....http://www.topline.ie/garden-and-outdoors/lawn-and-garden/compost-peat-and-soil/compost/westland-john-innes-no-2-potting-on-compost-30-litre
so u think i should switch to the 400/600w hps when i plant up....? which is going to be very soon by the looks of them....

yer they look ready to pot up :)
this is how i would pot your plants up, fill the pots with dry soil, dig a hole in the middle of each pot and gently push the cups/plants in the hole half way down, then take the cups/plants out
pour 1/2ltr of water into each hole the soil will sink making the hole deeper

turn the plant upside down with the base of the plant stem between your fingers to support the rootmass/plant , lift the plastic cup off and drop the root mass into the hole and press down and fill any holes, water the plant in 2-3 days time

should take 7-14 days before the roots fill the pot, you will know because you will need to water every 2 days, then there should be enough food for a week more

did you soak the root mass and pot them up ?
or did you pot them up and give them a good soak ?
