As @GreenJoker put it better than me.
Mixing lots of perlite would be OK for seeds, just check how much fertilizer is in the bag.
My regime is light mix with extra perlite for seed and cuttings, light mix for vegging with liquid feed as required and bat mix for flowering.
Buy a couple of bags for a grow and you will not go back. Everything is right and correct from the start... so much easier and much more lovely bud.

Thanks @bud. As allways I am trying to aim for a no nute regime for the the veg, and then Bio bloom as required for flower. I will eventually get around to trying "purpose built" soil for the experience. Making the soil keeps me busy and thats part of the buzz.

Germing a few more strains atm, have ghs money maker, ghs k-train and barneys 8 ball kush. Im gone a bit nuts, iv orderd a few more today. Some royal queen special kush, lemon kush and special skunk.

Ill post a few pics when the light comes on, plants are coming on well now. Topped them last week and there branching out nicely now.

Ah yes making your own is good.
Lots of fiber they like, moss peat would be better than compost but need to add lime.
Bord na mona compost etc is wrong though

I ordered a few big smart pots aswell today, the ones that are like them shopping bags for life. See how they go, ment to be great for the roots.

I might just keep the front and back right plants and toss the other two outside when I can. Front right was the sickest plant a few weeks back now shes a powerhouse, they need new pots now soon. Id say there roots are wrapping good in the pots. There all topped now apart from the trippy one, Il tie them down then after I repot them.

My other beans are popping as I type, will prob pot them up tommorow. Cant wait to grow out the k-train! Shes ment to be a rocket ship. Theres ment to be a stretchy as fuck pheno tho, I dont want that. Hopefully out of the 2 beans ill get lucky with the og dom pheno.

Light was just turned on, they were just waking up. I water once a week mabie and I have fed them once since they have been growing. With no perlite in the soil it holds a fair bit of water, takes a good while to dry out, even in the small pots. I got a sack of perlite the other day and some 11L smart pots so when im repotting and moving to the other tent ill get a nice mix together.

I wasnt really sure what pot to buy as they didnt have the dimentions of them up on the site, just the capacity. I think they will be fine tho. There 24cm squared.

Oh and my 8 ball kusk and K-train where potted last night, should be up in a few days. The money maker still hasnt popped yet, It looks slightly damaged so im not to sure about it sprouting. At least i have another one there in case.

Its right bank seeds critical x white widow. Only te second time iv bought of a not so well known seed bank, Ill think twice about it again. Its a cracking plant too, very well structured. I was thinking of growing out the nanners and pinching them off and keeping them and crossing it with another strain but im pritty sure it carrys the hermi genes along. Might be nice to have a handfull of hermfems for outdoor. Can always bho or hash them.

I wouldnt go attemping to use a hermi that exhibited both sexs so early in flowering. Maybe if she threw em later in flowering like the last week or so but nah man propper ball ache. If she's hermi this early no point trying to pinch off the sacks you'll have a ton soon
