I know this will sound crazy, but I know for a fact that in an ez cloner, the higher water temp the faster they root, and I'm talking about cutting off days. 80 degrees if you can keep the cloner from getting root slime. I have no issues doing this using pool shock. But knock on wood because it can happen. It gets to be about 100+ degrees here in the summer so my veg room is always 80, so the cloner water is 80 plus what ever the pump raises it. I root clones ready to plant in 5 days in the sumer. In the winter, 8-10 days

I've started a batch of clones 3 days ago and while not in a cloner I keep temps in the 80's and 100% humidity. I use root riot cubes and rooting powder and have 100% success rate with this strain. They sit in a tote with a lid and the bottom 3-4" has vermeculite. I do very well with this method and had roots after 6 days with the first batch.

That's perfect for cloning, 80-85, 80%rh and bingo! I just started a new cloning method. I start my clones in an ez cloner, then transplant to rockwool macro plugs after 3 days. Then finish rooting in the plugs. I need no dome or high humidity this way and they root fully in about 7 days or so. I really like it because I like having a medium for the roots to establish in rather than just roots that an ez cloner gives. It gives the plant a better stable base using a plug. I bet if you put your cuttings in a cup of clonex for 3 days and then put in a plug before they root, boom! You'd have some serious roots and no need for a dome and no worry of them drooping while getting accustomed to the change in rh

Buy a pond fogger on amazon for 10 bucks and stick it in a dark tote running 24/7 or if you prefer a timer. Go mediumless with no medium at all by using the paper towel method and after around 2 to 3 days place the seedling in a neoprene collar(2 inch) place in the new fogger system and a week later massive root growth. Then just grab the netpot and place it in a 6 inch net pot with a 6 inch lid that has a two inch hole that you will have to cut with a drill and two inch hole cutter. Once you get this all in place you just move them around at will easy peasy. Hope this all makes sense to you.

Here are the parts

1. fogger for ponds http://www.amazon.com/AGPtEK-Fountain-Fishtank-Birdbath-Atomization/dp/B00PAK21WU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1457107066&sr=8-2&keywords=pond+fogger

2. 2 inch neoprene collar http://www.amazon.com/Cloning-Collars-Inserts-Cz-Garden/dp/B01AAXJKTS/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1457107106&sr=8-5&keywords=2+inch+neoprene+collar

3. http://www.amazon.com/Wide-Lip-Bucket-Basket-Container/dp/B0049XIIGC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1457107136&sr=8-1&keywords=6+inch+net+pot

4. 6 inch netpot lid http://www.amazon.com/Gro-Pro-Net-Pot-Inch/dp/B003B5US3A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1457107157&sr=8-2&keywords=6+inch+net+pot+lid

5. polyfilm to black out the white netpot lid as it is semi transparent. http://www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-ABWP1-Black-White-Polymer/dp/B004WI44LM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1457107183&sr=8-1&keywords=poly+film

6. Bubbler . Use the one you have or buy one. No explanation necessary there.

7. 3 or 5 gallon buckets for your DWC.

That should do it for the setup for you and you now have a mediumless setup and no need to ever buy medium again. Every once in a while neoprene collars, but those are cheap so no worries there. No more trips to the store.

Back in the day when we were doing field grows we would clone hundreds in dirt, cups, and boxes covered with Plastic wrap and it was a fucking assembly line lol.

Right on, this is awesome info, I am actually thinking about firing up a aeroponic system in the near future, and this method would work perfect to get things started. I never got to truly use my high pressure Aero system as much as I wanted and it took me forever to build one. I really want to make one again and have a real go at it 8-)

Haha! Me too! When I first started growing I used either dirt for cloning or a cup of water and I'd put the cups in a box with plastic wrap over top of the box lol. You just gave me a flash back moment lol

Oh, I picked up the vitamino today. Put it in the res at 15tsp to 20 gallons of water, little lower than recommended dose. Will let ya know how it does! I usually don't use any supplements but if it works that'll be nice, it can't hurt I'd imagine. There's not much info or studies about the effects of amino and vitamins on plants that I've read, so I'll do some research and see what I can find. It seems since a plant is a living organism that it would have benefits

Well again I was directed towards it due to what I had read about it making nutrients more available to the plant. After using it I did notice that the blotchy leave (calcium) and mag deficiency disappeared. I also have notice lots of growers get blotchy leaves and it's a pretty common thing that everyone tries to fix with Calmag but my water is full of it, never made sense unt I read some stuff on amino additives. And yes keep me posted, would love to hear how it goes.

Are there any known substitues to Botanicares Hydroguard in Europe? I can't really afford to pay a shit ton for shipping from America, and there's nothing on ebay or amazon..

I'm scared I might wake up one day to find all those pearly white roots covered in brown gunk. I need some kind of feel well product and HG seems to be the best bet.

I would look at kangaroos and also pondzyme which many here swear by.

it lasts, I put it on a timer for 25 minutes on and then off the rest of the hour.
