Growing gives patients a choice
The LPs were designed NOT to give ANYONE a choice ... :)

Thankfully, we have judges that give us our right and CHOICE!

They have the same choice of what is available. Nobody held a gun to your head on your choice of lp. I have more respect for a company that produces and sells their own product that one who middles a product. They both suck. Ive said it before if cc or dispensaries would just hook up patients to growers for a small fee i would be 100% behind it. But that would never happen because they want that high profit for themselves. But ya your right they are their to help patients.

It's pretty fucking plain to see in my eyes.

In order to become an LP, you needed massive upfront investments, without a guarantee you'd even get a license. They now had to go about recouping the millions invested in their "state of the art" facilities. So, they began charging astronomical prices, believing that their oligopoly would succeed and we would all bend over and take it.

Then they realized that the profits weren't coming fast and furious like they had hoped. They were watching a large portion of their profits get eaten up by dispensaries and patients who chose to produce for themselves, so what to do?

Well the next thing the LPs did was form a lobby group to put pressure on the government to stop the proliferation of those dangerous dispensaries. Fuck, while we're at it, better stop those home grows too. It's dangerous for people to be producing this stuff at home! FIRE, MOLD, THEFTS, GANGS, lions and tigers and bears, Oh my!

The LP's are all guilty of buying into an oligopoly, and believing they had a license to print money. Then when reality set in, they got butt hurt and tried to fuck over Canadians by taking away our rights. FUCK THEM!

Do I think that all dispensary owners are in it to help patients and not make a buck? Absolutely not, Im sure there are a large portion of dispensary owners just looking for profit. The main thing is, they are not actively trying to fuck us over and force us to purchase solely from them.

if anybody thinks anyone currently is in this to solely help others, they are sadly mistaken.
they're a business. they all are.. LP or dispensary.. hell even collective.
you know what isn't? growing your own.. which is and always will be the most recommended route from anyone but government or big business.

it's kinda messed up though.. first they split us into med and rec (which i hate we let happen) now it's going even further with us fighting over who's less corrupt; dispensaries or LP's? :-|
i'll tell you this; atleast dispensaries are more entrepreneurial-ish with letting more people have a shot.. not just picking a couple with already large bank accounts to fire up whole warehouses.

pk said it much better than i though.

i'd love to see everyone self sufficient with us doing farmers markets.. i know that's a hippy shangra-la dream though ;)
