Genetics have a predetermined max capability of production. Given optimal conditions a plant will produce around its max within a range.

If you know how to keep your plants healthy and give them the nutrients they need when they need them they will flourish. You can add as many things as you want and buy the most expensive shit and you'll still never be able to make a plant produce better or more than it already had the potential to. A lot of additives change specific things like taste. Changing flavor doesn't necessarily change potency, but it is a preference for some growers.

I will say I've never been in a large op that does any of the 50 part systems lol. When you're mixing 300 gallons of nutrients mix at a time that becomes a real bitch.

I've seen big outdoor grows that just run two part Nutes through the entire runs and produce fire. Alaska fish fertilizer from Home Depot is one that can get you through a full cycle outside without issues. Real cheap. Too smelly for indoor though.

Most of the cannabis nutrient industry is gimmicks and tricks IMO/E

I agree, the Alaska fish emulation is some great stuff. Stinks to high heaven but it's good and cheap.

I've run it on its own outside and know a few other guys that run it as a one part outside. Great stuff and cheap. I still use a three part in my indoor though...

yield is determined by proper airflow,temps,pruning techinques,proper feeding...and of course genetics....learning what a strain needs to hit its maximum potential,this takes time and practice

Yep, every strain is different and you'll never get it to produce its best unless you know it very well. Some plans like weird training techniques or nutrient regimens. Recently I've been running a couple strains that need was more p than I'm used to in flower to stay green. Produced great, but o bet I could've done better if I had know about their need for heavy pk feeding earlier in flower. You kind of have to work with the plants intimately to get them to produce their best.


I also think they like music . Lol. But that's more just silly but has some anecdotal testing/backing.
