SoraaLaser is commercializing a new generation of visible laser sources for display, automotive, and specialty applications. As an independent spin-off from Soraa Inc. (LED lighting), SoraaLaser was founded by several leading global pioneers in solid state lighting, including Dr. Shuji Nakamura, 2014 Nobel Laureate in Physics

SoraaLaser's visible laser light sources are used directly in single color and R-G-B applications, or integrated into laser pumped phosphor architectures. These sources enable applications in a myriad of vertical markets, including:

Display
Specialty Illumination
Biomedicine
Industrial Materials
Defense And Security
Automotive

And for you peeps out West:
SoraaLaser, a world leader in commercialization of visible laser light sources, will present its innovative light source technology at Strategies in Light conference, March 1-3, in Santa Clara, CA. These advanced light sources feature unique performance properties such as collimated output and waveguide delivery, and provide compelling advantages over LED, OLED, and legacy sources in specialty lighting.........At Strategies in Light, SoraaLaser will be presenting during the March 1, 2016 “Quality of Light” Workshop, as well as a Seminar on laser-phosphor sources on March 2, 2016. Additionally, SoraaLaser’s will exhibit its novel sources in booth # 949, including fiber optic and direct emitting white and blue laser modules. To learn more about laser light, while at Strategies In Light, visit SoraaLaser’s booth # 949, or email[email protected] to schedule a meeting.

The UtilitiTech Lowes work light with tripod. On sale for $60. 40 watt 4000k. Works great as supplemental light in the HPS room. Seriously.

Holy Side Lighting! What the hell is that?? ;-)

Edit: is it really over $2300??
It is. I thought to myself how could it be worth it. Once received I saw why. 8 MeanWell drivers probobly a thousand diodes. I'll check my data sheet. Material & labor for assembly justifies it. Plus I don't think I could come up with a better build design. It's ok to get wet if you need to spray the plants for mites. I'm happy with it even at that cost. Hoping to get more weight off it then I can with 600 watts of HPS which normally gives me a pound. Not much heat to contend with at all & full illumination. It's pricey but not enough to stop me from filling my room with them if I'm happy. If it can put out 2 lbs. then it paid for itself with double while doubling my 600 watt Yeild quota of 1 lb. Gotta thread going on it. Stop by!

I hate that 1000 watt replacement stuff that companies push. Maybe for Boston lettuce but any grower is going to be challenged to grow a MMJ plant perfectly in a perfect environment to get it to truly express itself (660 + 450nm, broadband lighting my ass). Just not worth it for our thing in my book but I wouldn't throw her out before I used her either. Also if memory serves me correctly she ain't light.

They look like the kind of company you'd like to hire to help design and build your light. I bet they know a ton about lighting but I bet they don't know shit about the practical world of growing marijuana.

vividgro is a 660 red+white, and from the looks of it its not a bad light, probably on a par with an Illumitex neosol

Dude I'm looking at it and if that's considered broadband I'm the Prince of the Frogs.

Edit: Did GG post the V1 LM/79 data? A V2 is considered 2500K but that doesn't mean it has white? Or is it because I smoked the Glue today and now I'm just "glue-less"????:eyesmoke:+:dunce:
