New to AG need some help

yes ph up down for fish tanks is the smae thing

no you wont get qp from your ag maybe qo

you really are gonna ant a real grow light

i doubt you will even get an oz of good bud from that and the bud will probably be all spindly it looks like they just have a couple cfls in them at least mine does


for the money you spent you coulda got a 400w hps and some 5 gal buckets and grown like 2-3 big ole guys and got your qp or more
and yes blowing smoke at your plants is bad they dont like it keep them in a room that you dont smoke in ever

wen trimmimg do it however you can get closest if you mean trimming off branches if you mean topping you would wanna do either way at an angle will give sometimes up to oo5 heads straight will guive 2 but i wouldnt top them f you are just set on growing them in an aerogarden
aerogardens are awsome for herbs to eat like dill basil i have one for that buit not so much for indo

hey i went to the pet shop today and the person said that the fresh water from my fish tank is perfect to make the plants bloom and grow.. so i added about a liter of fish water to my rez along with a big nutrient from the master gardeners kit... Lets see how they look in the next couple of days.. Ph for fish water is around 7.0 so i added the liter and put a lil ph downer in the rez just to make sure after a ph test.. Today is the 3rd day of flowering @ 12/12.. Thanks for the input every1

Thanks guys i went into the room today where the closet where my stuff is and dam all i can smell is over powering weed smell.. Yay.... Havent smelled it b4 only smely like regular greens or grass. Today they smell so sexy and scrumpcious...

Dude why does every1 on hea have to be so dam negative.. I asked questions for ur input not for u to come in hea and run ur mouth talking shit.. Thi is my 1st grow and need helpful input not immature negative shit from u.. If u dont have anything good to say to help dont post at all.. Man guys people just have to be negative about the areogarden.. Sorry us middle class people dont have thousands of $$$ to buy crazy setups.. And i aint doing this to sell and ake money im doing this for me to have good weed since hydro and haze go for over $450 where i live.. Im sik of the shitty commercial brick weed every1 sells and says its so bomb.. So please if u have no helpful input keep ur shit to urself

yea. no sht.the AG is for small crops yes but we have to work with what we got and try to make it more sufficient to our growing techniques.
The only way to accomplish this is by reading and trial and error.
Are there things we want better for the AG hell yes. BUT IT IS'NT.I could o on for hours about what the AG should have,but i don't.
We did'nt make the damn thing , we just use it to the best of our knowledge.

Oh yea ,just for the record.my first grow,very first grow with AG,before i knew anything about rollitup.org,i yeild about20 grams per plant using the AG!Now how u Luv that!

oh yea dog you want that Ph to stay at 5.5-6.5 6.0-6.2 is ideal.
the ph can fluctuate one full point and not cause ne probs.check the ph every day or two to keep it at that perfect level.that is very very very important,i do it everyday,Make sure the ph is stable before you add the nutes..Deviations in ph levels offen affect element solubility.if the ph is to low (acidic),acid salts chemically bind nutes and the roots are unable to absorb them.toxic salt buildup that limits water intake is a major prob.
i just thought id add that to this thread.

Lol purp thanks for backin me up.. I only have 1 problem with the pH thing.. I have a pH tester but the charts lowest reading is 6.0.. What color is the water when the pH is less than 5.. I think im ok i check it once a day and its always light yellow.. It looks a lighter yellow than the 6.0 reading. But i added 2 more cfl's.. 1 more 23 watt=100w and 1 43 watt=150.. I also added a fan hanging from the clothes bar 3 feet above the plants for air circulation.. I almost lost the smallest plant today.. When i was setting up the last light i hit another and it fell over onnto the smallest plant snappin one of the leaves right off.. I inspected it to make sure the stalk didnt break.. Phew I think she is safe.. I will be taking 2 new pics on monday.. Other than that today is either day 4 or 5 of flowering and still no white hairs showing.. Oh ya today i raised the arm to its 2nd setting.. I also trimmed a couple plants.. A few huge leaves were growing over the other plants and blocking light to lower part of the plants.. I tink i cut a total of 5 big leaves off. Pictures monday guys and gals.. Oh i just wanted to say i have been adding about liter of fish tank water every 2 days.. As soon as i add the liter i put a lil ph downer in the water because pH in fish tank water is around 7.0.. I wait 5 minutes and take a pH test then every monday i add 1 large nutrient tablet to the rez.. Other than that i havent been doing anything special.. Hopefully i start to see some females and pick out the males b4 he roots start to become entangled.. Well thats the latest keep putting ur advice and comments guys and gals.. thats good.i was going to recommend a couple more cfl's.i need a couple more myself.i would use only the 150 watt. replacement bulbs.2700 LUMENS a bulb.You NEED a digital Ph tester.i dont want to mislead you in any way so i cant say about the color chart for the ph,i always use a digita.you can get one for around 25.00-30.00.Let the water sit after you add the down for bout 30 min to let the Ph settle.
Yes be very careful when inspecting the ladies,They do NOT like it rough.lol.That is exactly what happened to my last crop.i cut the sponges too short and all they wanted to do was fall over.so i was in the grow room oneday and i bumped one completely over and it broke another one at the base...o be very careful around the ladies!

Thanks again purp.. Today is day 7 of flowering and still no white hairs... Hopefully i see something soon.. I tried flowering early so i can pull the males b4 all the roots become entangled.. I noticed that my babies are dinking alot of dam water a day.. They are drinking almost a liter a day.. Ive been putting a lil over a liter of fish tank water everyday and a half.. And i am seeing these babies flourish sooo much. I mean they are growing and becoming so bushy guys and gals.. Like i said i am putting my circulated fish tank water in every 2 days and i am putting 1 large nutrient from the masters gardener kit in the water every monday.. Well i have new pictures tommorow guys.. Tommorow is 1 month of being in the AG and 8 days of flowring.. If any1 has any more input im willing to listen.. I have the regular 3 AG lights and 3 23 watt=100 watt cfl's and 1 42watt=150 cfl surrounding the plants.. I also have the 6' figure 8 wire to be able to extend the lamp up to 5 or 6 feet.. And when they do get that big i will probally add 1 or 2 more 42 watt=150 cfl's.. Other than that thats about it for today.. Sorry i dont post too many pictures my pregnant girlfriend is really scared about getting in trouble.. I aint doing this to sell anyways im doing this to have good weed for myself since the shit is so dam expense over hea.. And im sick of spending 1000's a year on garbage.. So bare with me hea people.. 1 or 2 new pics a week thats all i can do... Thanks for standing by me guys and gals its because of u my plants look great!!!

dam korvette those shits are looking strong u still vegging??? Mine are feminized so i have 5 going hopin for 2 or 3 females.. But hook a nigga up with someinfo on what ur doing man.. I take a lil advice.. Like what u have for lighting timing, nutez the whole 9 yards.. This is my first man and i thin im doin pretty dam good

Well I topped them at day 12 and are switching to flower tomorrow .. Im useing the ag tomato nutes one tablet a week I use spring water and fill to the brim, also an airstone .. Check out the choots after topping




.
And if you have femmed seeds they should all be female ..
