I think that's backwards. 4000k has more blue than 3000k. So bushes would be more likely to grow under 4000k. Mixing spectrums with the cobs spread out doesnt really blend much. But clustered together they seem to do alright. Also vegging with 3000k still makes pretty bushy plants. Not much stretch with any of the white cobs.@benchfrooser - I don't see any reason to mix spectrums, it isn't like you are using monos. If you like tall stretchy plants, go with 4000k or 3500k, but if you are running bushes 3500k to 3000k. The extra blue may help slow down stretch in so plants.
