How bad is the strech? Why is this happening with Blue MH

I am new to growing.

I am using 2x Solistek 6000k Blue MH bulbs with the Solistek Ballasts.

The distance from the top canopy is around 20" - I cannot get closer as the leafs begin to show signs of heat stress

21 Days from germination Humboldt seeds, TrainWreck, BlueDream, and Choclate Mint OG

I think my plants are streching but I do not understand why. I can understand if I was using wrong spectrum CFLS, but these are correct spectrum and MH.

What do you think, Pics follow

I am thinking weather I should just dispose of them all and start again. Perhaps using a CFL

Don't bin nothing man they look good and healthy they will grow out of that stretchy stage in no time at all

The question is interesting to me as well, what is the best LED light for seedling?

I'm thinking to build a custom seedling light, about a 90W power draw from the wall, with the following LEDs;

420-430nm 3 led,
445-455nm 7 led,
460-465nm 7 led,
470-475nm 5 led,
6000K 10 led,
3000K 5 piece of led.

Are these seems good together? Or should I use only 6000K leds?

Yeah t5 is great for seedlings so is cfl.

I wouldn't gp under HID till the 3-5 node. IMO

if a seedling can live under the sun i think it can handle a 1000w....$ is the issue u need to look at.
