I'd hope that his filter would run 24/7!maybe its because your filter just shut down and you havent stuck your head in at night before?

Yes the connectors come apart, a plastic and metal tab keep the wires together with the plastic ends but, i just drilled 1/4" holes so the plastic pieces can fit thru, now i can just zip tie or tape the wires so they fit cleanly in the U shape of the aluminium. How did you fit the wires through those small holes. The connectors come off?
OH it looks like the holes are way too small for them.Yes the connectors come apart, a plastic and metal tab keep the wires together with the plastic ends but, i just drilled 1/4" holes so the plastic pieces can fit thru, now i can just zip tie or tape the wires so they fit cleanly in the U shape of the aluminium.
Where'd you get the u channeling? Finally had a few minutes to finish this this thing. I wouldnt mind building another bar or two like this with some xpe2s in 620nm and some uv. Soderless is the way to go, much less time to assemble, only had to solder the dc side of the driver. Whole light is 24.2watts.
x2should i be switching to 14/10 to get the most out of this effect?
bro did you screw the diodes down or just hold them on w adhesive? It was under 100$, and sounds like 6 would do. I was just trying to cover a 4x8 area but sounds like i might have built enough to cover everything. I havnt finished my light yet, just waiting on some thermal adhesive to finish it up.
nice. I was wondering which driver would be best suited and you answered my question.Got my xpe far reds, gonna make (2) 6.5' bars with 7xpes on each. Going to try digital timers to sync up the lights off with the far reds. For those of you that run far reds at lights out, have you seen a noticeable difference in yield, should i be switching to 14/10 to get the most out of this effect?

sorry Grouch, just saw this. No I have not ordered one.I would be interested in one if that is true. Have you ordered one?
Hey, @Banana444 , what is zip tied at the end of your build there? I see the driver further towards the center. Finally had a few minutes to finish this this thing. That doesn't look like it is going to have enough intensity to do much of anything. Finally had a few minutes to finish this this thing. Do you even know what this is used for? That comment made me go... wtf? That doesn't look like it is going to have enough intensity to do much of anything.
I finished my far red bar. I used 6 x solderless 730nm xpes on a 30 x 2" HSUSA profile. Right now I'm using an old modem power source @900mA. It doesn not get even a lil bit warm. I attached it to my aluminum frame with zip ties. Fastest bar build ever.I plan on mounting the far red LED diodes on my existing heats sink in two groups perhaps around the CoB's. Don't know yet. The signal is broad-based so from what I could gather, the far red signal only requires perhaps 10-12 Far Red LED diodes to do the trick in a space. Plant gets signal equally from all leaves, so any leaf get's the light sends the signal to the entire plant. peace.
Yes I do, 2 watt lights look useless to me.Do you even know what this is used for? That comment made me go... wtf?

Pretty snarky remark from someone who just two months ago was asking questions on every single thread about readily available information. Maybe you should cut people a break that you asked for not that long ago.Do you even know what this is used for? That comment made me go... wtf?
I don't care, this guy is clueless I bet he grows schwag.Pretty snarky remark from someone who just two months ago was asking questions on every single thread about readily available information. Maybe you should cut people a break that you asked for not that long ago.
This is 23 page's of multiple times being said how little of it is needed.Pretty snarky remark from someone who just two months ago was asking questions on every single thread about readily available information. Maybe you should cut people a break that you asked for not that long ago.
