Honestly ur grow is already screwed. I'd wash my plants and harvest early. Make some qwiso or something. Then wait a couple months to start growing again. Clean up really good beforehand tho. Lil bastards can go dormant.

I'm not saying it won't work but they r a bigger headache than they really need to be. I got mites once. I nuked them lil punks and ended up losing 3 crops anyway. I used everything to kill them I even smushed millions by hand. I'd cut my losses now and start over.

Clean the freak out of everything 1st if you really wanna save them....

I wipe down with Hydrogen Peroxide alot....all along my tent floors/walls/ poles etc....wash and dry plant saucers for watering...wash the outside of the pots and then use your HANDS...

I have saved many this way....clean up the general area 1st, then address each plant, they aren't so big that 15 minutes a plant will do some incredible damage to the fuckers.....Just got along each main stem and starting huntin...Then spray or mulch your topsoil area to keep them at bay in the soil....

I only soil spray with Potassium silicate [protekt is the same] and Neem Oil/Teatree/Peppermint / Lemon oil to mix it up....and with ROLS organic and dogs all the fuck around, I rarely have mites.....

Hands are under-rated tools for saving from mites...You don't have to throw away whole rooms, especially if you don't have much to begin with :peace:

I was recently helping a friend with his operation. Pretty beefy set up. 4 lights, over 20 plants, etc.

I found 1 spider mite infested plant. (Really infested) I checked the plants around it, and they seemed fine. I removed the infested plant, and did some heavy defoliating on all the healthy plants. We are week six into flower, and not a single plant is having pest issues. (I removed the infested plant about 9 weeks ago)

Dense clusters of foilage will promote pest problems. Some growers suggest that defoliation will encourage plants to increase their natural pest resistant chemicals.

I dont know how bad ur mite problem is... but this is my advice: defoliate ur plants. Remove about 30 - 40% of fan leaves. Especially any leaves that have obvious signs of yellow speckling. (Yellow specks on leafs are signs of spider mite damage) Wait 2 - 3 days after defoliating, then spray your plants down with neem oil. Continue spraying every other day for 2 weeks. (Do not spray while lights are on)
If your diligent, it will work. once ur done with all of this spraying, keep an eye on the ladies and be sure to look specifically for any yellow specks on the leaves.

Good luck

Bad source material is the #1 problem for Pest Problems....while I can agree that thick vegetation can certainly increase mite habitat, that would be the last thing I focus on....especially considering that many grow with No defolation and get nary a bug....

Chucked everything so far besides 3 that I have been spraying... gonna move them outside soon anyway.... just because I don't want that shit to spread to the Flowering room. You can trash EVERYTHING, but the mites will still be there. I would bleach & scrub the ENTIRE room and dont forget the ventilation/fans. After that just shut the lights and fans off for 24hrs and hit them with this 51tgDyZ9FOL._SY300_.jpg
After 24hrs dark, rinse the plant off GOOD and resume flowering. Imo any indoor plant within 20 foot of the infested plants should also be sprayed.

I'm not even Flowering these bitches yet though they are in veg stage in another room. My flower room is not effected and everything is gonna be plucked in 2 or 3 days anyway so I'm gonna do a major cleaning in the veg room. And the flower room too just to be sure..... I think I'm going with dinafem original amnesia seeds it was one of my best yielders and loved nutes and light... and with dinafem blue cheese... I'm still debating whether or not I should get anything from reserva privada or DNA genetics... I have had good results with them.

Why do peoplevfreak out about bugs. Mites are were a threat n the 90s. All infestations can b dealt with usingvtthe proper shit at the proper amounts atvthe proper times.

Mites rotate
Fliramite, azamax and doctor doom ombs.
If u still have them an extra treatment of avid n early stages wipes any mite the fuck out everytime.
Fungas gnats..azamax drench. Go gnats or BT(sqito dunks or gnatrol) boom dead fuckers
Root aphids: merit (bayer fruit citrus, mallet)
And azamax
