Lol. I see a bunch of effort being wasted in here, that's all. Don't know why either side is putting so much energy into whatever this is suppose to be; it's almost become a tradition on this forum and LED section that Sativied comes in, finds a way to start a +10 page debate between himself and every LED techie and then disappears, only to return ~6 months later to repeat the process.

I mean the title does have hps in it. Everyone just talking as far as i can read except a few. Who wouldn't want to read Raz and then read Sativied. Who cares if they disagree. Those fuckers know their shit. Education all over this thread.

This is my take Yup not to many cob growers have grown with a 1000 watt DE let lone 1000 watt mag ballast lol
most Cob growers concerns like why most went to LED was cause of heat issues. disapointed in MARS units and yields switching to Cob
But the Facts remain YES Cobs appear to grow there taking about 200 watts less to compete with Hid
Not blow out hid remember that its getting into the same ball park i look at it as 50 / 50 either way
for sure there are benifit longer life span
Are there any real time tests after one year use as in par out put ??? i mean that is what people should be really looking at sure it may last 50,000 hrs which i am sure there is not one Cob grower that reach them hrs yet to give you idea that is 2083 days with lights on Eh nope not yet Eh lol
everyone tends to think spectrum is more important then driving force as in umol your wrong its not its the par that will win every time

Wbat i am seeing odd is everyone going gung ho over this tech yet i have yet to see a Cob grow produce huge buds like 1000 watt or like this one 660 watt DE is capable of
so that is the big question why are we not seeing buds if par is better in Cob and offcourse the eff being so much better Yet we see buds like every grow like this

Personally i think sooner people realize is just another light like plasma CMH , or even Hid and admit it will or will not work good for your situation
Sooner people will respect the light
Were all growers going for the same thing really gets tiring when you here HID killer and see buds like in the pic comparing it to a HID i find just amuzing
OR is it most ob growers just grow small bud strains cause so far truthfully speaking i honestly not overly impressed cause i see a huge difference when comparing mass :) user152169_pic1284802_1405154203.jpg week 7.jpg

they look pink to me, and it was the guy who cant handle the truth who called names.

Since I grow with a variety of light sources, I guess I am on like 4 different sides, so which fucking side are you referring to choda boy?
