2 liters should be easy to gather. Just drive around your local neighborhoods on recycle day and gather them like that. That's how I got mind since I really don't drink soda?
I haven't done hempy in a while but I'm trying to figure out if I have room to grow 4 doc moms from seed (reserva Pravda tangie, Dinafem blue kush or devil's harvest seeds strawberry sour diesel) and grow 4 moms so I can do a 128 2 liter hempy grow.....ill keep y'all posted hopefully by summer time. I'll keep y'all posted. Oh yes and theft will be hand water with a wand of some sort.

I added an additional layer of thick plastic in my tent and now will
occasionally water by just dumping 5-10 gallons of water right into
my tent. It will end up with a 1" plus standing but it is absorbed before
the lights are back up in the morning.
I think that it works because the thirstier plants will take up more.
I have found that big, heavy eating plant will still need more, but it is
an easy way to feed the entire tent in a minute.

Here's a little tester that was grown in a small trash can. I added a little tubing 2" above the bottom with silicon. I got a sample pack of "maptio" which is polyfoam and rockwool (Pre-treated with 5.5 water for an hour). The reservoir was filled with hydroton, since it was either that or FFOF. (cleaning out my old stuff)
Her sister was the real gem this time, she is only one of two. The weird thing about her is that she has zero smell. ZERO. Smelled a little like grapefruit during veg, but now i can rub my fingers all over her and nothing.

SR, I used a tube also to guide my drainage. I just drilled a hole just a bit smaller than tubing and just pushed it in, never leaked around it.
Really frosty bud there, good job!

Ok guys, how often do you hear a lady say the "I don't really guess size makes a difference".
I know that statement was not politically correct, but you know what I am tired of politically correct. It is only meant to be funny, not insult any one in any way.
Cindy, I am not sure what you plan on using as a medium, but cost could be a factor with larger containers not to mention space. Watering one hundred Hempy's is going to be a bitch.

Hey hempy fans. Thought I'd let you all know about my after break grow. Only shut the room down for a little over 3 months but it felt much longer. I'm going for a hardcore sativa grow. I planted 4 reg Malawi Gold (packet says 17 to 18 wks flower) and 2 fem Zamaldelica its a Poly Hybrid. Zamal x Malawi/Thai. It's a little quicker at 14 wk.
I planted on 2/6 Only 3 of the Malawi germed and one of those was a mutant it just popped, twisted and stopped. you'll see it in the first photo at 21 days after planting, it didn't make the cut for the up potting into 2/3gal soil pots with 2 tsp OC+ as usual on 2/21 the next couple of photos. One of the Zams is a tripod so after the 2nd topping I'll have 6 tops instead of 4. A dozen days later on 3/8 I topped them. This last weekend on 3/13 I put them in what I consider to be my BIG buckets (3.5gal) (before and after shots) went back to my basic soil capped perlite bucket, but no OC this round, it will not make a it through a grow of this length. So I'm going to break the bank and use Jack's Classic. Last shot tonight

Finally! Most of my 100 clones are ready to be put into flower! Some of them looked so bad, I thought they would never make it, but boy as soon as their little roots hit the reservoir they exploded...all except the Strawberry Amnesia. I have a couple that are doing ok, but far behind the rest. I would have had a 100% success rate if it hadn't been for those little buggers!

I am using some with 50/50 cocoplus/coarse perlite with polyester pillow stuffing in the res, and some with 50/50 happy frog/coarse perlite with the polyester. I repotted a few today that I had in solos and the polyester was already full of nice healthy roots in both the coco and the happy frog mixture. I will be flowering under 2 600w hps in 2 4x4 tents. I have a window unit in the room, plus a 12k portable a/c. I have cfl's and t5s to supplement should I need them. I have a pretty good fan, 2 boosters and a carbon scrubber. One of the 600s is an air cooled hood, and for the other is a cool tube with wing. The clones average 6-8 inches and look very healthy. They have only received Getawaymountain's seaweed juice, and fish emulsion so far. I'm wondering what I need to feed them now. I'm giving my outdoor flora nova bloom. Should I give them that?

Okey Dokey, I am about to harvest my final two White Rhino, as they are about 50% cloudy, I did the last Exodus Cheese on the 17th, I was going to wait till Monday but upon inspection that on Wed. there were about 20 + percent Amber.
Ok in prep for this final harvest I rolled a fatty of the EC to make my day!

What started out looking like one of the best grows I have had, since I moved indoors, ended up barely making it. But nothing died, only reduced yield. Already working on planning this falls grow. Thinking straight coco DTW. Will take a break before starting all that though.
Headed for an extended vacation in late April.
I will post weights when all is dried.
