What does immunity for Clinton email staffer signal? Has a grand jury convened?

(CNN)The Department of Justice has granted "immunity" to a former State Department employee who worked on Hillary Clinton's private email server. Bryan Pagliano initially invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and would not testify. Of course, the Department of Justice, known to defense attorneys simply as the "government," has many ways of getting people to talk.

The big question is whether there is a grand jury convened. The smart bet is yes. After all, the fact that there are immunity agreements logically means there's a grand jury investigation in some district. The grand jury is typically the genesis of the government's subpoena power. The next, bigger question, is whether anyone will be indicted.

The mere fact that the DOJ wants to talk to Pagliano does not mean anyone will be indicted. But if the DOJ is investigating criminal activity, they tend to find criminal activity. In general, when the government wants to talk to someone, the person falls into one of three categories: target, subject, or witness.

This is gonna get interesting!

It was even more interesting when I was announced almost 2 weeks ago. News probably just got to Texas though. Slow fuck.

Recent developments are that her staffers cooperation with the FBI has been crucial in establishing a timeline between Hillary's emails and other evidence they have in determining which e-mails were erased and scrubbed from the drive

Doubtful, he donated to her presidential campaign, he loves the Clinton's

Dude is taking you and everyone else who support him for a ride
NY businessman Trump donated to NY senator Clinton for business purposes. In what way was the donation politically motivated? Trump is a builder, and it's tough to build/ do business in NYC with the government against you. Trump knows how the game is played, he has played by the establishments rules, and knows how to stop the abuse and crony capitalism.

Trump doesn't need to be threatened, mocked, and ridiculed. He's not running for president to become even more rich. He loves what America has given him, and wants to give back, and to save this country from the Clinton Mafia's corruption.

"for business purposes"

What purposes might those be?

What kind of person would trust a guy to end political corruption who spent his whole adult life bribing politicians to get what he wanted? You would rather support a person who was intimately involved in this process and justify it by saying it was "just business" than someone who never took or gave a bribe in their life? He said we should murder innocent civilians, that's actually recorded, and that doesn't bother you? How are his views any different than a terrorists? They murder innocent civilians to push a political agenda, he says he want's to murder innocent civilians to push his political agenda, so what's the difference?

Trump stated that he will not act outside confines of the law.

Billionaire Democrat donors like Warren Buffet have been donating to politicians in exchange for favors for years. You're right it needs to end, but at the same time we can't shame people for playing by the rules and doing what's best for their business. Change starts from the top - down to the bottom.

he had better not. since he won't be elected president or anything, he'd be arrested. or sued.

ya know, just like he is being sued for racketeering and fraud by his "university" students as we speak.

These people protesting Trump seem to have no problem with the politicians that he bought off. Trump never took an oath of office to be loyal to the citizens of America...

were you aware that you can end a sentence using a period not just once, but anytime you make a complete sentence?

the never ending ellipsis abuse only signals to people that you are as much of an idiot as they think you are.

Trump clarified what he meant while speaking with Anderson Cooper, he said that the law needs to be changed (so that we can torture people), and that he would target innocent civilians in the Middle East, not that he would not act outside it. Murdering innocent people is against the law incase you or Trump hasn't heard.

And you are using the exact same justification for Trump that people use when they get caught cheating "Don't hate the player, hate the game". You would have a completely different opinion about Trump if the only thing that was different about him was he was running for the democratic nomination, instead you make excuses for everything he does, even when it's against both US and international law.

You never respond to the charge that Obama is murdering people without due process at this time through drone strikes.

It amazes me that you can be worried about a treatment that leaves no visible wounds nor any disfigurement yet have absolutely no problem with the one blowing people into bits because he believes them to be bad men...
