First grow, grow closest almost complete

I've actually got intake coming in the right bottom corner of the door now. This little $20 inline fan I've got doesn't push much air. I should upgrade that sooner than later.

But I'm just going to use this thread as my grow journal for this grow. I tried starting a actual grow journal a few days ago and it wouldn't let me.

Day 8 for my plants, they seem to be a nice size for day 8 and im happy with progress. I count 6 more leaves getting ready to branch out.

Thanks, Intake is also 6", I have a small humidifier in closest with plants and everything is working well together. Only got 2 plants this first time around. Only growing for personal useso no need for huge amounts.

I should have got a bigger light tho, this 250 is working great but I'm going to have to train them to stay short.

If you are having issues with heat it may be as simple as increasing size of intake.
If you double the size of intake your exhaust will work much better. No need for intake fan.

Someone correct me if I am mistaking.

Peace

I've got a intake fan on it already, same size as my exhaust fan. I could probably use a larger exhaust fan. Or ,a larger intake fan, I'm not sure to be honest. I'm averaging Temps of about 77 so I'm not worried about it. I'm circulating the air so good enough for right now. If I ever get a bigger light I would need to adjust some things probably

Here is a pic, I run that duct with the inline fan on the end to the window at night when it is cool to cool room and to get some fresh co2.

I just cut a piece of plywood to size and put hinges on it so I wouldn't have to cut up the close the door. I have some lighg leaks obviously so I will have to figure something out when I go to flower. Probably just do dark time at night, should help

I guess I don't understand why you don't just grow in that bedroom???

Most people do "closet grows" because they have to be stealthy. If anyone walked into that room they'd immediately know what you're doing. What you should do is grow in that bedroom in either just the room or a gorilla grow tent and vent the hot air outside like you're already doing. I veg 24/7 and flower 12/12 from 6pm to 6am. Use that closet you have as the veg room.

I could always expand, this is my first grow and I didn't want to invest more than $500. Another reason I didn't use the whole room was the odor. Wasn't sure if could filter it out with out a confined space. If i vent outside i was worried it would be obvjous to my neighbors. The closet isnt as air tight as I had imagined it being when I began this endeavor. You do have a point tho and I realize that now that I have come this far. I'm just going to get this grow under my belt and go from there.

Another thing is a huge electric bill spike and heat signature might land my ass in county, and fuck that. What I have makes me less nervous.

Got weird gray spot on lowest leaf, believe it's from getting water with nutes in it on lower leaves while watering tho. I hope that's all it is
