say what you want about lil wayne... yes old school is tha way to go and i am quite fond of ugk RIP pimp c but the truth is that wayne is a good lyricist... if you dont think so you obviously dont listen... he doesnt do the stupid ass rythmic rap that most of these other punk bitch new age gangster fake ass wannabees do... and hes not perfect but he can flo like no other... he has been rapping since he was a lil kid and has made the transition from pre teen to teen to post teen to manhood which has NOT been done by ANY other rapper out there... most artists find a mould and stick to it... wayne is unique because he has the ability to change from one genre to the other and change the mood of his shit. and no hes not no gangster but if you think 50 cent or any of these other punks are gangsters your smokin some good shit... real gangsters are in prison. the main thing about wayne is despite whether or not he is the best alive is irrelevant the reason why he has mad sales and mad followers is because he does more WORK Than any other rapper out there. this fool puts out mixtapes and songs like nobody in the bizz... he does the market research from what songs are hot and what are not and complies em to make cds which creates a buzz before they even hit the streets... he is a smart music marketer and a pretty smart biz man despite what you may or may not believe.... so all yall can hate all you want but the fact is hes makin more cash than you can dream about...DONT HATE APPRECIATE... i will say he does have an "image" to stand up to but hes a stupd fuck and gonna kill himself with all this coke ex and drank.... just look at dj screw... that yellow tuss dont care how famous you are it will kill ya

Its crazy im not gonna hate on the man cuz hes staking chips, one of the most hardworking rappers...dont really like his spittin-style but he has some nice lyrics at times. Hes puttin more work than some artist combined and regularly has new mixtapes..but that dosent make him the best ever and i dont mind listenin to some of his songs..
Now when im lit up i listen to people i consider good lyrecist Gangstarr, 2pac, Biggie, bone thugs, nas and i could go on...marley,eek-a-mouse,sublime,doors lol its all good. xcept for country im not really down with that when im sparkin it..lol

most of those mixtapes arent officially endorsed by him... theres a million mixtapes with "new" songs by him - and they were stolen(the songs).
but that goes for alot of songs on mixtapes. ever notice the SHITTY quality of mixtapes?

Now there arent alot of "good" ppl to listen to that have dope lyrics and aint talkin bout money and cars in every song on they cd. personally i think Biggie had the shit in the old day, but now idk. Im a fan of wayne and hova.

D-Block whatup!.....Jada is one of the best but he doesn't put out enough music. He needs to take some advice from wayne and start droppin amillIon songs on the net. I happily paid $11.99 on Itunes for Tha carter III because he gave us like 4 albums worth of quality material for FREE. This is one dude who figured out how the new hip-hop game works. We refuse to pay $12 to $20 bucks for an album with two hot tracks...especially if we can get those two tracks for free in less than five seconds.
As for the thing about the lean...yeah he definitely has a bit of a problem...he talks about it all the time and he ain't lyin. I saw an interview with Baby where he said they worry about him because he sips the stuff constantly... but..."he's a grown man"
