I convert my trim to dry ice hash and slow cook it in a crock pot on low in clarified butter.
14 grams dry ice hash per 500 grams of butter weight before clarifying makes a stout cannabutter to work with.

Maybe my dry ice keif was too old? I have lots of it from last year, but not sure if it gets too old to taste good

Was a sad day today.

Grabbed my pot cookies, left the room, 10m later came back, and my cookies where gone?? Well 20 m later my chihuahua stops walking, and fails to the floor
. I was laughing hard at first, then laughing, became fears of my wife's dog dying. Well 2 hrs later she seems okay. Still fucked up, but she's eating, and alert. Damn what a night

Had a dog that ate cookies and took over 24 hrs to recover, but she was fine again. it was traumatic and dog had a bad trip. Glad weed isnt bad for you or toxic at high doss!

same thing happened to me,brought a nice sour kush x deep blue bud upstairs and sat it on the kitchen table,went to take a piss came back like where the fuck is it???looked at my pitbull and he was hiding in the corner lol..2 hours later he was trippin,but not crazy bad ,,i was freaking out majorly..felt so bad ...im a str8 sucker for my puppies lol

ziplock and in a dark bag, but gets 80*F sometimes where its stored.
I might just try it again, just worried about the smell with the owner living next door now

You should be alright. Odors don't reek of cannabis.
Light causes more damage than heat....and 80 isn't too warm.
I occasionally stir the mix in the crock pot while it is cooking to keep the kief from coagulating.
Don't forget to strain it after it has cooled enough to handle it.

I never strained in the past sine it was keif I didnt see the need. That is probably is tasted like ***T

Just in case Ill cook some curry a the same time.
