Here's cupdate #4 I believe. This was like picking a number out of a hat for a party prize or something. I didn't really check out any information until after I picked and planted, but we will see what happens. You other people have some nice ones going that I am jealous of. If I do it again I will do a hydro style set up.:peace:

Yeah the hydro is going to become more of a bitch the longer the roots are confined to that cup during flower when they really start wanting p and k it'll be hard to keep them happy without over feeding IMe. The smaller the hydro setup, the easier/faster things go wrong. And it's like not swapping your res during veg, you won't notice until they're pretty crucially flowering. I'm stoked to see these guys pull it off, I'm not envious though lol. Its gonna suck more and more the further we go for all of us, but much more the hydro ones I think.

Cupdate 3rd week
Top dressed with some kelp meal, grew some mycelium on it, so i know my soil is alive. Sex has shown on the q #2 and the cotton candy, fems. I will wait on my declaration post until the last shows sex, but i think we can all see the clear choice here. Still waiting for their own spot directly under the light, one more week and they will have plenty of room.

Cupdate Week 3 from sprout...
Floral fed every other day with tea good growth, debating on throwing a couple worms in each cup soil is getting hard I put them in all my plants 3 gal and bigger but there gonna get smashed from the roots in these little cups.
For the people who planted fem seeds when do we have to choose what plant we are using for the comp, I would think within the next week everyone should be showing sex. 14583928745381287975551.jpg 1458392999713-1368094190.jpg

Whenever your lasts plant shows its gender. I don't think there is a different rule because they're fems.

Update: 19Mar2016

Cup doing good, no sign of flowering yet, growth is good, looks healthy and happy.

Test cup shows faster growth than the soil cup, healthy and happy, have to work on a few things with the hoses, but happy so far with the results.
The test cup and contestant soil cup are both KushBerry, germinated same time, one went in the soil and other into hydro-test cup, same light source, side by side.

Happy to see that some really nice healthy plants so far, and everyone is doing fine.

Update 4.

I have seeds in veg I started 2 weeks after these that have already surpassed them in all ways. Poor things.

Anyhow, stragglers of the group it seems but I know well enough that they will pick up with some time. They need to grow into these hempies.

As soon as the girls in the back ground finish up I am installing a flood and drain system and these girls will be in it. I really wanted to do a flood and drain with these cups at the beginning but I didnt want to spend anything on them besides the cups themselves.

#1 & #3 will likely be pulled by next week.

Everyone in the comp is looking good. I dont get on here much now that spring has picked up and the sogging rain is giving up for the sun. See you all gain next week!

Cupdate. Looking real good. Haze is out, showing to much def and not really recovering. So it's between the Ko and master og.

Update #4

They are coming along, just slow. Very healthy though, I starting feeding today at 400 PPM. I added some gorilla tape to the sides of the taller cups. Light was getting to the roots. I also drilled holes in the bottom to help with watering. Now I can water until I get runoff. Added a bit more soil too. Here's the pics:

Three of them are, I'm just waiting on the last one that's lagging. Should be in the next few days though, but I'm pretty sure the rule is I have until the last shows, regardless of the rest of the plants yeah?
