Yeah I got that yesterday. this time I dimmed them before I turned them on. Dimmed they are @700mA. @1400mA they are real bright. Gonna make some nice family.

Honestly, I've read the debates about lenses and I know that my 80 degree glass lenses are supposed to be giving something up to other types, but my plants LOVE THEM. So I'm going to keep listening to them.

I got them from PLC for a couple bucks each. they also have lens covers too for the reflectors, just palctic not glass, but keeps dirt and dust out of the CoB. peace.

Those lenses that fit inside the Ledil reflector makes the light diffuse better and brighter, from what I can tell, squinting. I tried the fixture both ways and the lenses are brighter. they are plastic not glass, but they have ridges to better effect dispersion of light more equally, I guess.

@ttystikk thanks bro. Not my first light, just my first LED light. I love what and how you guys are sharing. I wanted to go with LED's but did not know where to start, and now I can't stop. LOL. I used a 2x2 sheet of gyp bd, mounted on a 1" rigid insulation board so I can set it between sites. I plan on running each light on a separate circuit using extension chord, since I have fairly low amps for lights and I use a custom designed Aero/DWC system of spinners with submersible/external pumps. For veg I use a flood table with a cover, and for bloom I use 3 gallon buckets with external pump. hehe. wink.

I decided after watching the far red thread to use all 3w red diode leds and run them the entire cycle, deal with the stretch, maybe a little sog style, and watch them pack on. I used to used HPS and I would get fat nugs, and that is why I did not want to change, but heat is hell to overcome, 8,000 BTU portable Ac and such. LED's no problem, remote driver, almost called it a ballast, haha, keeps heat out of the grow area. I plan on growing more trees/bushes longer veg; 200W veg light with cloning above and 13W blue/white led panels. I see the resultsf rom the far red diodes and it gets me excited. lol peace.
