Hi I am new to growing.. I am doing white diesel autoflowering indoors for veg and outdoors when it buds.. I have 2 cfls 54w on a Y connector. im using a one gallon pot as thats all I got (low on money) is this possible? Also ive researched but couldnt find how long white diesel takes to veg and how can I safely put the plant outside without shocking it from the dramatic cold temps when it comes to flowering.
Thanks :D

Im no expert but from what I know the autos are gonna grow on THEIR schedule, not yours-
And I would venture to guess that a one gallon pot is NOT gonna work for long, and they dont like to be transplanted, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable will help out
Good luck!

You'll be ok in the one gallon. With the wattage you're running, I doubt your plant is going to get huge anyway. I used cfl's to veg with one plant will grow pretty well under them. The buds won't be award winning, but you'll get a harvest. You'll need to keep it inside unless the night temps will stay above 50.

Thanks.. my grow box is really small so im gunna take it outside after about 3 weeks and put it in a green house when its colder.. btw what is my average yield?

Im not sure but autos usually will only get you 1-3 ozs but I have heard of more

I'm growing 3 plants. 2 in 1gal smart pots and 1 in 3gal smartpot. 5 and a half weeks into flower after 4 week veg for the 1 gal plant and it's coming along very nicely. Idk about a regular pot.. might get rootbound. Went straight from solo cup to 1 gal and hasn't moved since. It's the one in the back left. (Pic from 11 days ago)

When you take outside, consider the stress you will put them through. Double whammy if you transplant and go outside.

Maybe not award winning but flouros can grow straight fire it just won't be as dense as hid.

If done right neither will stress it. Let it dry and take root ball and all out of the pot.

I would just leave it in the one gallon and finish it. Go up in size next grow.

When putting it out side put it out for a couple hours of direct sunlight in the early morning and evening. Shade during the middle of the day. After a couple days increase the direct sunlight hours daily.

You could put it out during the day and under cfl at night for 24 light schedule.

Thankyou everyone and for the quick reply. The cotyledon leaves are curling I have the cfl 5cm away, is that ok? It appears that two leaves are starting to grow but they seem to be a light brown (havent grown yet)

Yeah if done right! this is Newbie Central. Not seasoned Grower.
