So just looking for your thoughts on going with a nice 1 plant scrog or going with 4 plants 12/12 from seed? Which do you think would yield more overall and be the easiest?

Best bet, would be 4 plants, give em a couple weeks of veg.
That way if anything goes "uh oh" all your effort isn't blown on one plant.

Yea, not enough of a veg time for them to gain any size. I veg mine for about 3 to 4 weeks, keeps them short and with the lights close they bush out well.

what space room do you have?
If you have the space for a 2x2 foot grow or 3x3 foot grow you could fit 5-9 three gallon containers. I have a height restriction of 5 ft. So i will veg my plants until they are one foot; then top her at 12 inches and place scrog at 14 inches from soil. Then ill have about 24-36 inches to flower

Since I have a short veg cycle and I like to keep a fresh stash of smoke handy, I let them run natural. I did topping once but it just seemed to take longer then if I let em go.

If you don't mind waiting topping is fine. Once I got a good stash on stand by and find a really nice strain I might top a couple. But for now, I want to crank em out to build up a nice stash. Especially since April 20th isn't to far away.

well right know I just sprouted 2 og kush and 2 pure kush. So maybe veg for 3 weeks and flip but dont top?

I have also been considering switching the lights to 12/12 within the next month because I am tired paying ridiculous prices for bud. Especially when I smoke 2 g's a day about ($20).
But on the other hand, I get a bigger yield if I'm patient..

Check out my grow log for the when to flip formula, not sure if you'll have to worry about height but it's a useful tool. 3 to 4 weeks is my average veg, part of that is due to my limited height in my tent. Check em at 3 weeks, see how bushy they are then decide.

That's why I grow a few plants at a time, with different flowering times. I can usually squeeze off a couple months worth of smoke with each run.
