So I was thinking last night after we discussed me moving, about ways I could save money.

So it looks like there a difference between where you live.

So maybe this is the part I need you guys to understand.

I don't want to move out there and live in the city.
I hate the damn city life.. I would move Alaska in heart beat if it had Colorado weather..

But have you guys seen earth bags? I'm sure most of you have..think log cabin but with dirt..lol

I know I could build a house from the ground up pretty cheap. Even make it very nice for about 8k in just a couple months. Rent will probably be the biggest expense.

But I know how to garden, probably a little better than the locals. I think I could make a living off gardening using our modern tech and just sheer knowledge. And bringing a ton of American vegetables and fruits seeds with me.

So over there you don't want to own a car or truck. Basically a moped is the way to go.

I'm thinking killer dirt bike, but whatever..

When I say considering. I plan ahead..

And I am still down with selling seeds. But by no means on the same level as nirvana.

Plus nirvana ain't got shit on my stash lol..

What ever guys I'm going to sleep.

I live in one of those, but it is made with Miller Lite cans filled with plaster of paris.

man u have a fantasy of the perfect life in a tropical paradise with the woman you love but are yet to meet, she may also have a similar fantasy of a rich American saving her from the quataris and the life of an indentured servant. Presumably the 7 year old is in the philipines? so his mother has abandodned him and spends all day on FB with you...few red flags in there mate, most I would do is send a plane ticket see if she can get a visa. Worth remembering that the first 3 months of being in love is all brain chemistry, u need to come off the high b4 u make a big move my friend
The USA will give her 90 days to come here to see odanksta want to marry her.

Odanksta,
My dad something similar with a Chinese woman. He flew over there and stayed two different times for a month and then she came here for 90 days. There is even a TV show about it now.

With taking the trips and the time she spent here it still turned out to be a mess. This woman kept the ruse up for years.

Look into it. You can at least meet her and get to know her a little.

I need to chime in real quick.... Filipinos do not consider themselves Asian lmao, please everyone, just stop calling filipi asian ...... Its pacific islandrs .... And honestly I would have to say very Spanish like, idk how to explain it, bit most flips I have met have Spanish names, my girls last name is alfonso.... Her dads name was Edwardo .... They ain't Asian. Can't wait to see what your girl thinks about her being Asian, odank lol
It could be because it was once a Spanish colony. Just a guess. The usa had a huge military presence there and is starting again as well. So alot of American culture is present there. Like the love of guns!

Yeah I am planning on taking things slow.

But I look back in life and see all the negative things I have spent my money on. Even paying for visa wouldn't bother me. I am willing to make that decision.

See the people posting here have no idea of our conversations. They are looking out for me, sure I understand.

But they only know one side of the story..

My wife (Filipino) read this thread and had 2 comments: " I feel bad for OP. This is about on par with the Nigerian prince thing. So common its almost cliche in the Philippines."

"Some of the people commenting are total dicks."

LOL
She told me she is still reading this thread, she said when she finishes she will post. We need to set her up an account. I'll have her pm you. So maybe she can talk to your wife. I'm sure she will enjoy that..

I kinda wish I had used better mannerism in my first post, it was douchey..

But I am glad your wife read this .

I agree with that. You do realize that you only know half the story too. You only talk on the phone and skype.. you only see and hear what she wants you to see and hear. We are jumping to conclusions but so are you.. all you can do is meet her and see how much you really like each other.

dont you have a criminal record? you may not be able to sponsor her

dont sponsor ANYONE unless you are married or are getting married, you are legally obligated to this person by EVERYTHING she does if you sponsor her
you are also financially responsible for her.
and medically responsible. so you better have insurance. she has a kid , kids get sick, break bones etc.

youre gunna also wanna make sure the father of that child is going to be okay with her taking her kid out of the country.

in addition to that you need to be able to have a steady job and sorry hate to tell you but selling marijuana isnt what the united states immigration services is looking for for when they want a sponsor
you say youre planning ahead, i say youre all over the damn place you havent a clue what youre doing and i dont mean that in a bad way

slow down. meet her first. enjoy budding romances. theyre beautiful dont get so worked up in planning for a future that has endless possibilities ....enjoy what you have in the moments you do

than if it all works out happily. you can start your visa journey by making sure you can even afford to sponsor someone and their child.
youre really jumping all over the gun here

Yea sunni is right, I have a buddy from south Africa, his wife and her family had to sponsor him, I forget how long he said it was, but, they had to totally be willing to support him 100%.... He said he was only allowed to make $70 a week!! He said its to prove the marriage was real and not a scam or some shit.

yup you have to prove your marriage is real
you also have to do an interview with some fancy pants head of department in order to prove your marriage is real
they ask you a lot of personal questions. to see if your stories are straight

i just recently sent in my first "proof of marriage evidence" it had to include our story, photos of us together, passport photos, all of our employment histories , places of living, etc etc
its very indepth , huge list of shit basically.
hefty price tag to send along with it as per usual. and the best thing is if its denied they dont refunds so you have to apply again with money again. and they will deny you for simply having the wrong folder used.

all in all i still have a long way to go to get my green card to be able to work, and my process is sped up because im married to a military member, so you really need to be sure when you sponsor someone you are able to afford a one income household.

like i said previously nothing will ever make me want to work illegally in this country there is no amount of money that would make me want to do it.
why?
because if im deported /caught than im seperated from my husband and possibly my child. and i will never take that chance.

Give me a second edit this, switching to the pc

She explain that to me, but was never discussed.

If her son was here I would take care of him no matter what.

youre gunna also wanna make sure the father of that child is going to be okay with her taking her kid out of the country.

Plot twist. .. she is still married to him. They have been seperated for maybe 4 to 5 years.. Not sure. She is saving up money for her divorce. It like $800 to $1000 for the divorce in US dollars.

in addition to that you need to be able to have a steady job and sorry hate to tell you but selling marijuana isnt what the united states immigration services is looking for for when they want a sponsor

I just got a really good job as a bar manager. The owner said bar tenders make 800 to 1000 on a 40 hour week. I will be getting a higher hourly wage of 10 per hr plus tips.

And I do have a nice work history.

Weed is side money, cars, enjoyment, vacations, equipment and the utilities.

slow down. meet her first. enjoy budding romances. theyre beautiful dont get so worked up in planning for a future that has endless possibilities ....enjoy what you have in the moments you do

Yeah I am taking it slowly, but being prepared. I need to know exactly what I am getting into.

It's on the news today, Trump saying "i would stop all visas"

I met her in early January, I have not slept with anyone since.

I am saving up for $2500 to visit her in the Philippians in about two months for a week.

than if it all works out happily. you can start your visa journey by making sure you can even afford to sponsor someone and their child.

I'm not jumping the gun, all my money is being throwed in my garden.. It's eating my entire budget. I just flipped my first 3K run. I'm expect 5.5lbs off it, but that is a 3K per 4 rooms on a 2 week offset..

Harvesting 5.5 every 2 to 3weeks..

Sorry I am not good at multi quotes. Lol I give up..
