purple stems and veins?

my plant is 6 weeks into flower and today i noticed lots of the leaves veins are turning purple. the stems have been purple for months now i thought its normal but i jist noticed the actual veins are purple too. lots of leaves are also yellowing and falling off what could cause this?

A purple main stem is an indication of absorption problems. Most times that means ph is out of range but this is the result & not necessarily the root cause. Sounds like you've got other defs too which could be related. First be sure you are using the right size container. Too small a pot can root bind a plant & cause the issues you are reporting. If this is the case simply transplant to a larger pot with fresh mix.

i just transfered into a very large pot 2 weeks ago so thats not the problem.. its not the main stem thats purple just the stems connecting the leaves

Red stems are normal for some strains. I've got plants that always exhibit this but if you've got veining or striping on the main stem that is a sign of a ph imbalance. Yellowing can occur by week 6 on the lower leaves or inside leaves & that could be from lack of light but if you've got yellowing all over the plant that's an indicator of deeper ph or related uptake issue.

thanks. i boight a ph pen and i do ph my water to 6.5 before feeding but nothings changing

Checking the ph of the water you give is not telling you the actual ph in the root zone. You need a soil probe ph meter to check ph in soil. Alotta peeps check their runoff which is not an accurate representation of the ph either. Even adjusting the ph of the water you give won't change the ph when growing in soil. If you used a bagged mix chances are the ph was balanced already...what are you feeding? Pics might help

It can be genetic and if your growing in coco as I do I find that checking the ph or ec on runoff is a waste of time, I know this is a debated subject, although my experience tells me otherwise and as long as you keep a decent runoff you shouldn't have any salt buildup issues, by the way I have found if plants are given to much at feed time the main stems have purple lines and as they dry out the purple disappears
