Hey @ODanksta , did you watch the episode of "Locked Up Abroad" that I posted? The Philippines is a very Catholic nation with some different ideas about marriage and children and divorce. Having any sort of relationship with her in the Philippines might expose you to significant legal risk. Watch the show. You know nothing about the Philippines and your ideas about the number of Americans in jail have little bearing on the Philippine legal system. Stay the hell out of there until you know her a lot better. Her husband or ex-husband could create a lot of problems for you. All Americans are rich compared to the average Filippino. It would suck for your brother to have to send all the proceeds of the grow to get your ass out of a Philippine jail on some TRUMP!ed up morals charge.

Dude, I hear you asking advice but it sounds like you are already set on a course of action. Slow the fuck down.

I agree with unclebaldrick.... All I know of the Philippines is what native Filipinos and 1st gen Filipino Americans have told me : beautiful as hell, cheap as fuck, Violent as fuck as well.... I was told if I ever go there to never stroll around by myself, ever. Motherduxkers will straight kidnap your ass bro... Like baldrick said, you are a rich american over there. You seem like a cool dude Odanksta, I have liked reading your threads from the get go, bro, for real.... I'm not saying this woman has any secret agenda at all, but, your not 100%, you can't be. Its like this: I see ppl getting married after 6 months of dating and shit, they are just sooooo in love.ok. your in love, so if its true why the need to rush things? If its real you have the rest of your lives to be together, so why rush and make a potentially huge mistake? You do realize that if a cop over there caught you just puffing some weed, your going to jail, probably for a lot longer than you want to be, and its gonna cost you some $$$ most likely because after all, you are a rich american with a rich american family that will pay to get you out of jail safely... That's how they are gonna see it. Just be safe. Godspeed

or they might catch him putting his penis into a married woman. There is no due process there if her husband's cousin is a local cop.

There is no such thing as divorce in Philippine law either.

Yup... I was just gonna say that if her husband don't like you, he could cause you hella problems...
or maybe he just likes money. pretty common.

Kinda funny that if you knock up a Filipino, the baby belongs to the ex-husband. Can't see any problems with that. Even the British Embassy was like, sorry dude, you are fucked, DNA means nothing in this Catholic-ass hellhole.

There was some Pacific nation within the Golden Triangle that just executed a bunch of drug smugglers, so be careful.
That is northern Thailand, Burma and Laos South East Asia ain't no joke they kill you for drugs over their so best believe anyone selling or growing drugs has probably killed. I would want a gun for sure cause they do have guns and life is cheap really no better than Colombia. I would not be shocked if they would force girls to play Americans after all 20K is enough to get killed in America. Lol, but I do know a guy who visits some Filipino girl all the time I would just stay out of the country and ghettos but that means staying in tourist areas so fuck that shit.:bigjoint:

According to the Nat Geo show I posted the price is $400 in the Philippines - but that was from a police officer so you could prolly do better.

So all of you know I've been talking to this Filipina chic for a couple months. Regardless of my troll posts, I haven't slept with anyone since we got serious. So considering where America is going and all the politics that I have a strong hatred towards, and the whole media and the peoples values here. I am strongly considering moving to the Philippians with her. Most people there speak english.

I am going to make some decent amount of money in the next year, so I'm thinking about saving up as much as possible and making the move.

I plan on making a trip in the next couple of months. To see how I feel about everything before making a final decision.

The truth is there are a ton of American expats over there. And I mean a shit ton. It's a simple peaceful life over there.

But yeah my main concern would be work. But she says her grandfather has a building/shop for sale. So I am considering opening a restaurant..
But I also have a couple other plans up my sleeve, I will be doing a massive seed run before I leave. And maybe getting into selling seeds offshore.

With the move, I plan on taking about $20,000 with me.

So let's talk about her. So yes money is kinda an issue, but that could be said about most American girls too. But she knows I'm not loaded. But once you learn about their culture things are way different then ours. They expect you to take care of them and their families, but the girls whole purpose in life is take care of their man, maybe even to point of craziness. They get crazy jealous, but then again you must understand their culture. So they have a giant American military base over there. And American guys have been leaving the girls high and dry for years. But the girls will love you until you die. Even to point of extreme clingliness. I'm fine with that. And in the Philippians they don't date, dating is basically marriage. The men (chickboys) not shemales) are players. The men are known for cheating but the females are NOT. But woman can be kinda aggressive. I know she is. But I'd much rather an aggressive girl then one who gives zero shits about you.

There are tons of videos on youtube of guys that love it.

The difference in our relationship, between the others, is she is not a (bar girl) there is not an age gap. I'm 31 and she is 28. I'm not some old ass rich white guy and she isn't a super hot model (but she is beautiful).

And I am willing to walk away from the weed game for happiness.

Just thought I would share, and open for yalls opinions..
Great write up here...

I actually tried to encourage my friend to make that move. But, I've been knowing him for 25 years and he don't have much family or any friends at all. He's got quite a lot saved on his 401 K and a paid for house he talks about selling to help start a new life in the Phillipines. He has a very detailed plan of how he will make income and survive over there. Like I said earlier, a store to trade with the locals. Breeding raising pigs and chickens and growing vegetables. He's spent a lot of time educating himself about the culture over there. I think he could make it over there and since he has little to no roots I believe he would adapt well. Based on knowing him all these years he's a pretty capable guy.

Anyway. That's what you should do. Study up on what it would take to get established over there. What you will need to be prepared for to acclimate into the culture of those people. And as I and others have said, visit the area several times. And get to know your new friend.

He's been with his girl 4 years now. That's a long time and only ever seen her that one time. I'll ask him the name of that resort he took her too. It sounded and looked awesome. He flew over their and flew her in as well. I think she was still working in Hong King at that time.
There is a forum called Living in Cebu....you should check it out.

My name over there is Fanboat
