Hy all, I got a yellow/brown dots problem as you will see in the pictures.
Plants are about 10 days since they first showed, watered only, no nutes.
i forgot the name of the soil company but i know its good, found it forum as a good choice.
I planned to have 2 white widows from greenhouse+2 skunk from white label but these last never germinated, so i planted 1 extra white widow instead.
could it be if i accidently sprayed water on the leaves it left mark?
or humidity at 40?

I would appriciate some advice, as its really early to allready have such problems.

ThanksDSC_0055.jpgDSC_0054.jpgDSC_0050.jpg

It's possible that soil is too hot for seedlings. If it was a fertilized mix it could be N toxicity. For starting seeds you should be using a starter mix or a generic potting soil that has no ferts...if it has numbers listed on it like 5-7-5 or whatever it's got fertilizers in it; no good for seedlings. Give them nothing but water for the next few weeks but just keep the dirt moist with a hand mister; if you do not overwater them they should recover in time....not a lot you can do about these as they are so young. What kind of mix are you using?

Plants were just fine from start, really healthy green until now, so I dont think it is fertiliser problem, but in any case I will do as you sayd: not overwater them, use mist to keep a bit of moisture on the surface and see if it helps!

..Bug bites?
Thats what worries me most actually, hopefully this isnt the case!!

How is your water quality ??? PH , ppm, is there chlorine in your water ???

If you answer PH around 6.5, ppm under 90 (0 is best) and non-chlorinated water, then you may have one or more nutrient deficiencies showing up...

You mentioned they were greener before. The pics you have look slightly yellow (yes hps is helping with that). Your not showing signs of toxicity but the opposite.

Personally store bought soil is crap. your girls are starving. Mist your plants once or twice a day at least with a ph adjusted complete food that is readily available to your plants. I would recommend a seaweed based product. A 10-20% feeding strength is maximum. Your plants can absorb up to 20% of their food requirements via foliar absorption. Don't soak them, just a light misting, wait 5 minutes and repeat. do this in the plants morning period twice a day. results should be seen within a few days. Avoid mid day and/or end of the day applications. and yes - they love getting a little shower full of food. be like it raining cookies at a weight watchers convention... kinda. But unlike at weight watchers, make sure your girls have a light breeze to make sure they stay healthy. You should start feeding a 1/2 ration of nutrients the first time they start to get thirsty.

the plants are so small its hard to say for sure if its mobile or immobile element. I suspect that your
Nitrogen is low -light green, slow growth,
Manganese deficiency is causing the spots of dead leaf tissue while veins tend to remain greener.

It's not a deficiency. These plants are just a few weeks old- it is a classic nitrogen burn. It's not from nutrients though it's from a hot mix; not really that bad a problem right now as long as you don't give it more of anything. Just keep the soil moist; they will recover in a matter of weeks but next time use a starter mix for seedlings- that'll learn ya
Was curious what mix you are using only because I've done this very thing a few times using FFOF soil. In my experience organic burn is not as heinous as a burn from nutrients & the plants usually green back up once you get a few nodes on them. Water only is your freind- good luck happy growing

Hello everyone, I got good news.:bigjoint:

So after last time I continued to use only water but plants showed no improvement so I suspected my water could be too alkaline and cause magnesium or other mineral deficiencies.I took a little risk and combined 1/4 lemon with water and soaked the plants throughly. Next day plants allready showed better and I continued the treatment with less lemons. In the meantime I finally got Hesi starter pack and made a nice mix with bloom, boost, powerzyme and supervit, adjusted it to about 6-6.5 PH and BOOM, in next 2 hours when I looked they transformed, I swear that every leaf must have moved in a better position to soak sunlight in
Allmost forgot to mention that I made toppings and LST on 2 main plants,I think its ok for now but I will need to play around with it as they grow i think.

it seems my problems are gone for now, thank you for support and guidance,
One love :peace:
