Whatup homies I just bought a house and put my first grow in the basement. I got two rooms, one 14'x10' and the other 7'x10'. I'm thinking the setup will be 2-1k lights in the smaller room for veg and 4 or 5 1ks for flower. I want to do 30-40 plants. Is 5 lights too much for a 14'x10' room? Is that a good number of plants? Should I do more or less? I'm very excited to start up and would appreciate any help and advice.

If it's your first grow, I'd suggest starting with a few, get the ins and outs down before going large scale.
Or, do a few in soil and a few in hydro.
Remember rule # 1, too much love is a bad thing.
Research as much as you can when you decide with medium you're going to use. Then research some more.
Don't be afraid to search and ask either.

Yea honestly I would run half of each if u have never grown b4 ur taking on a lot are u solo in this project cause that's a lot to start with but it's ur basement have at it I will definitely check back in to see
I have a few friends that are experienced growers that will be able to help me out whenever i need it. I've helped them out with their rooms, so i do know a little bit. Seeing as i just bought my house i figured id get my own room. I've talked to them already about how they would set it up as well. I'm reaching out on here just to get some other ideas from other experienced growers.
