what are some good seed banks in the US? and i just don't have the room for a 4x4 if i did that's what i'd get i got this awkward little corner in my room that is perfectly 36x36 so yeah and it's pretty much not just Auto's just seeds in general i'd like to order so i knew i was getting certain strains etc.
not 4x4 40"x40".. but I know how it is..

It doesn't matter if you push or pull the air so why put that beast inside to take up room in the tent, my tent is very roomy inside.
It does matter, that's why the pre-filter goes on the outside. They are less efficient when you push through them than when you pull.

yes i'm new here but i plan on sticking around

so i'm new to growing was going to get a 4x2x5 tent but realized it probably wouldn't be tall enough to support a 400w HPS air cooled hood with a carbon filter and fan

now i'm thinking a 36x36x6 tent but does anyone think that would be big enough for a 400w HPS and carbon filter setup? i've even thought of adding a LED during flowering but not sure the tent would be big enough what does everyone else think?

thoughts and advice are appreciated
A 400 watt would be better in a 2x4 than a 3x3. 3x3 is 600 watt size for real coverage everywhere all the way through flower. Reflectors are generally rectangle anyway, which means your footprint is as well.

yeah i'd rather use Paypal just to be safe lol what i liked about the other company's listed is the individual seed sale
Not sure what would be "safer" about using paypal and then on top of that you gotta wait an extra week or two for things to go thru customs and hope you don't get green taped.. Hell, shipping is not only quicker but cheaper because you don't have to order a guarantee or anything because its not going thru inspection..

There are a couple strains that I can only find overseas but most of the hot breeders right now are stateside..

Good luck!

paypal doesn't give my card information to anyone i pay them and they pay the person. and it's safer because they reimburse up to 2000 buckis

Yeah height wouldn't be an issue anyway, you'll never get more than 2' of decent penetration with a 400. 3' with a 600, 4' with a 1k Ime. So with a 400 if you give a foot for the pots, you still are only working with 3-3.5 feet of height total from ground to top of canopy if you want to minimize larf.

i plan on adding a LED 400w during flower to. and losing the extra 2 feet in length is actually good to me gives me room to setup a little table and stuff to keep the ballast and nutes and stuff on next to it so it's no big deal .

im a tall guy and 5 foot just seems way to short to me plus that's 1 foot i don't have to bend down to get in the tent lol

I know there are more than a couple of people who share your opinion but I'm only speaking from my personal, albeit limited, auto experience. I think I grew 4 or 6 autos a couple years ago that were freebies from a couple seedbanks. The candy cheese auto was the only one that was even half way decent but the high was definitely auto. Unfortunately that experience put a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to autos.

What are some of your favorite auto strains?
Cream of the crop cash crops r prob my fav! But candy Kush, Blackberry, Pineapple Express. An yes these r all autos. The say there is around 22% thc on the CC. An I'm a firm believer. They pull serious weight an quality flower! A good cure an it's just as good as any cannabis cups I've smoked. The only thing these new strains take from the auto side is the time. The quality is just as good as any exact photo strain. I know some will say there's no way but I've worked my ass off over 17 years an learnt a lot. These new autos blow my mind an every old timer in my neck of woods. Just don't seem possible they can do that in 60-70 days. I run 20-4 start to finish an they go straight under 1k MH for 3wks then HPS to finish it. Ruffle week an half flush. There's even super autos that get massive. Upwards of 1lb dried good bud. They take about 100-110 days. Good luck.
