Ph fluctuation and dolomite lime

A couple of my strains are getting a little bit of that speckled rust color. Possible ph fluctuation? I grow in peat moss that comes pre limed. But I think I should probably top it off with some. Will any brand do? I want to order off amazon because I hate giving money to overpriced hydroshops

What leads you to believe that? Ph is the only thing I know of to cause rust colored speckling. What do you think it could be?
Rust color usually related to Cal, PH problems are actually very rare, however lockouts are very common

would need more info as to how you grow and pics of the plants ???

I'm hesitant to post picks, but will if necessary. 600w hps. Growing in sunshine advanced #4 (peat moss, which can be acidic) feeding gh maxibloom, calmag, and root enhancer with every watering at recommended amounts, with no signs of burn yet. I'm in week 3 of flower and they are looking fantastic.

A couple of my strains are getting a small amount of yellowing, which I suspect may be nitrogen def. But my mentor said that it was because they were too close to the light. They were about 8 inches away from an open reflector. So I moved it a few inches back, and now a slight rust color on a couple strains.

Edit: worth noting that the yellowing which started at the bottom and worked its way up usually on large fan leaves, were affected by the plants closest to the light. Meaning directly under it. As opposed to the plants slightly on the side

No push, safety first ! I'm in a legal state so I have no issues with post & pics and I also grow in sunshine mix #4 8)

the yellowing is most likely cause your feedin bloom nutes

Why would bloom nutes cause yellowing? It's well into flower. Should I break up my feedings with a regular water with calmag?

because they do not have any or enough N to keep plants green
Ah. Well the ones that are yellowing I've began adding about a half strength feeding of veg nutes, on top of the bloom. Also important to note, the strains that are yellowing are not the strains that are getting the rust color.

Edit: also, back to the rust coloring. You say normally a calcium issue? Am I feeding too much? I give recommended dose of calmag every watering which is every 3-4 days.
