Fox Farm soil

Busts Lung I love FFOF and have done full term grows with it with out any nuts except AZOS which is only a root enhancer but I have been finding some strains having a little trouble in it as my pineapple haze does but it's still going to make it all the way

Vostok I knew it was hot but IMO I wouldn't try 2 or 3 grows with out nutes and I don't use nutes I just keep it simple (KISS) I have now came to the ultimate conclusion of reusing my FFOF soil and mixing 50/50 with new FFOF and that should be perfect for the seedlings then transplant into only new FFOF with AZOS root enhancer and all strains should be able to with stand this (I HOPE)

I reuse the bottom portion of my container as the AUTOS i grow may only root out about half the container ( 3 or 5 gallon ) anyways. The end root mass is about half the volume of the original container. And since i only start feeding AFTER week 5 anyways and find this is viable soil i can reuse again.

I mix 50/50 light warrior and the remaining FFOF. I also add more perlite to this mix , and find it performs well. My grows never fully exhaust the imbedded nutes from the soil.

After 2 grows i toss.

Have any of y'all tried Happy Frog? I transplanted the first time into Happy Frog and my plants took off like a raped ape, I just put them in 1.5 or 2 gal plastic pots though I'm about to put them in fabric pots now though and try FFOF. If they take off again like they did in the Happy Frog I'll be shittin in high cotton!

Riddle me this... If FFOF or any other soil alone can do the full grow, why do most people buy into the whole nutes, seaweed extract, cal mag, and 50 other things I have read about..... Are all of there grows just off the charts,I kinda look at it like cancer screw the big Pharma just get some cannabis

You/Me are one RARE Dudes, very few go natural like you here,

many old and new members have an overwhelming desire to add volumes of bottled sewage

in the believe that they will get redwoods, along with a lifetime of bud ....lol

I'd be adding 20-30% perlite to that soil, or clean river sand/gravels it adds air, avoid root compaction

and reduces any chance of nute burn ..yeah you can get nute burn with FFOF

IMO: I'd then transplant into the old soil thats been re-amended like with the seedling mix,

the difference is I stole my girls hose and have sieved the soil to make my own germing mix

it does make a huge difference, in time, to getting those seeds into plants

but with AZOS root enhancer, added at 50% per volume during germming

again good luck

Thats why i dont jump on the AN NUTE train .... Makes no sense to spend shitloads of money and use multi-bottle nutes , supplements , bud candy , unicorn piss and whatever just to grow a fuckin weed !

Think about it ... What other plant around you needs so much shit to grow ?
Plug and play thinking is all you need. Leave the SPECIALIZED GROWING to the labs and nerds. All you want is a viable end product to medicate. As you search this forum , you will find the pissing contest between " growers " on who's the best or who has the best harvest .... Fuck all that ... Concentrate on WHAT YOU NEED.

There are great SIMPLE nute lines that are just Bloom and Grow feeds. Even a stupid Tomato Plant can grow just fine in bagged soil without anything but water.

I stopped that molasses shit ( no real difference i can notice ) , i ONLY concentrate on week 5-7 ( mid to late bloom stage ) for any supplements that MAY enhance a nicer flower. That's it. If i can make it from seed to harvest without drama , i call that a win.

I have the FOX FARM TRIO ( with their Bloom supplements - beastie , open sesame and cha ching ) but actually mothballed them in place of other simpler lines. I get less leaf issues and PH problems.

I want to grow the healthiest product I can it's mainly for my wife as I probably smoke a Full joint every 2 months just cause I love Bud light more anyhow my wife has chronic pain, anxiety, and sometimes depression and this keeps all this in ck,I use to grow over 500 tomato plants totally organic every year and just figured this is how this should be done since we are consuming most of it,I'm glad to see others feeling this way after researching all the ways and complications behind all the ways this makes the only since to me

I ain't ever used nothing but cow shit, lime and a dead fish to grow until this year. The only reason I'm using FFOF this year is I wasn't expecting to grow so I didn't have a chance to fix my holes. I have grown pound plants with nothing but cows shit

My indoor grow consist of transplanted in 3 gallon pot with wood chips in the bottom 1-1/2 then FFOF make a hole for small pot and sprinkle AZOS in around hole then place plant add a little more FFOF to top and water then I just water when soil gets dry about 2inches down or I listen to what the plant says have them under Platinum led lighting along with filters and 2 fans blowing on them, mist air every couple days room temp 70 humidity 40 pretty dam easy,I can't believe how people can make this so complicated and then freak out

Now this is very useful I have been doing a lot of research on this as she uses a vap pen for her cigarette so we have tons of vap stuff and I have a friend in CO that uses his pen I will have to study this info

lemme freak out ...!!!! lol

wood chips steal lots of (N) from surrounding soils

gravel/perlite is a better choice ..lol

but hey thats OK

(K) is radioactive but no one talks about that ...lol
Funny thing is I live on a lake and have tons of river rock but I use croutons from cocoa coir I also sometimes put some extra perlite in if it looks a little thin

I love FFOF but usually it can't do the whole grow, some strains will starve halfway through bloom unless you transplanted to a huge pot right before the flip.. I pay 20$ a bag so its cheaper to use 3 and 5 gallon pots and feed em.. Jacks classic is what I use and switch to jacks citrus bloom halfway through flower..cheap and easy and outstanding results, before jacks I used floranova bloom start 2 finish.. I don't use all that fancy stuff..no need to. You only need calmag if you are using rain water or RO water..not tap water.

Corsica 3 FFOF has no problem doing the entire grow other than the only thing I have found is some strains don't like how hot the mix is when there seedlings, there's a lot of documented full term grows withFFOF and I have done several NO NUTES I transplant to 3 gallon on week 3 typically unless there very healthy then I do 2-1/2 week transplant then start bloom on week 5th or 6th week and run for atleast 8 weeks with no probs
