I'm not sure where you got the top 2/3 cm from its the top 5-6 inches they live in from what our suppliers tell us. I'd just suggest giving a full drench with them to take care of the problem.
Hay lux.

I thought you was speaking about moss Mantiss

Sorry my bad!

Regarding the nematodes

I have found a supplier that provides them in 10 million pack for 10m2

I dont know how to apply this to my 4 plants pots

I suggest to not add the 1 million packs we sell to any more than 10 gallons of water. Fully water your plants, then give 1/4 of your usual watering of the nematode solution. So if you have 3 5 gallons and 1 3 gallon you need to only Mae roughly 1 gallon of the nematode solution.

Dear friends,

Now i've hear Springtails are beneficial to the soil and don't cause much harm to the plants however Root Aphids have the opposite approach!:wall:
I've come across what seems to be Root Aphids and was wondering how i can get rid of them so they can stop eating at the plants roots and also how to stop and control this from happening in the future!

Bit confused where i may have slipped up but everything was sterilised, the soil was shop bought (John innes seedlings soil).

:bigjoint:As always happy smoking:bigjoint:
I've had this battle before, and the absolute best method was to let the medium dry and then apply a generous amount of diatomaceous earth as a top dressing. Don't water for a couple of days at least. Then water and feed as usual. It won't hurt ur medium and completely wiped em out.

In my experience biologics don't work well indoors. Strange since the pests seem to thrive in the indoor environment but they don't do shit inside when I've tried them and I've tried about everything

ok, so its been a couple months. What was the final verdict? what eradicated them fucks? I am thinking that diamactious earth and the Bifentherin was the best bet, but did anyone try that? or find another solution? i JUST went into flower about a week ago, and then discovered them... I really dont want to wait it out.
I am 99% positive they are coming in my coco from CYCO

thanks for your response.
So you just drench with the Bifenterin, and spread the diamactious earth shit on top the medium?
by the way, what product containing bifenterin did you use? thanks...sorry for all the questions, i just havent found anyone who really "KNEW" for sure....so thanks.

I have just dried my room pretty well as I was in end of flower after my attempts so No I didnt try bifen or dia.

Hay bro,

Basically am fucked :s!

After I read about merit 75 and the guys above who recommended it, I thought they meant it for springtails.

I just payed 50US dollars to get it and guess what, I just called the customs to ask about another proudct called Bifen I\T

They told me no its not aloud in the EU even the Merit is not aloud and am facing even a kind of a fine now :s!!

I contact the guy on ebay to stop the order and refund me but no answer yet :s:s!!!

I though Ill nuke those jumpers with both proudcts.

If you are in the US then thats your chance bro.

For me till now I really have no clue what to do with them!

I can not dry my medium as I basically grow in coco....

Neem oil just slow them down. And am not using it regulary as the oil is not good for the roots and am flowering at the moment.

Am really worried about my veg room as this creatures is so tiny that u dont even see them and am afried i transplant them to the veg room accidently.

Specially i just started a lovely 12 new seeds different tasty strains.

I think this will help you alot, please read it. Unfortunately i can not get my hands on any of the mentioned components

All are banned in the EU

Also this is a qouted text from a grower in another forum which I found helpfull

I copy paste as you will see his english is much better lool

Sorry for that :)

Make sure you indentify correctly first.....

THEN---

You will hear from many people that they are no problem and simply feed on dead or decaying organic matter. Some will even tell you they are beneficial....all this is terribly wrong when considering the limited space within containers of an indoor garden.

I battled them for a loooooong time and they reduced my yields to nothing. Organic hydro and soil systems. NOTHING, trust me on this. When the organic matter within your container is exhausted they quickly begin feeding on your root and root hyphae systems rendering efficient nutrient uptake impossible. Everything during vegetative cycles will move along fine but as the needs of each plant explode during early Flower Phase you will see flower production come to a standstill.

Kill them now. I tried EVERYTHING. Once again, trust me please. From one of our state entomologists to any online resource I finally narrowed down one product: Bifenthrin. Used as a soil drench with the addition of Diatomaceous Earth I have eliminated them but use one drench per run just in case....

It is available under a few generic names and with different labeling for different uses, I'll leave the googling up to you...
----------------
Hope this helps...

Bubble :leaf:

This is the dumbest shit iv ever read. who the fuck snitches on them selves to customs? even though there growing weed lol. doesnt make sense, if you order it on ebay, most likely you will get it. lol this dude is ridiculous.
